Just to answer a couple of questions I've seen floating around
1 - Matt Striker sucks on commentary. It's all generic stuff, he hardly even says the names of the guys fighting. I honestly can't even tell who his partner is, it sounds like Coach but I know it isn't....pretty sure it's NOT Josh Matthews?
2 - CAW points haven't been an issue for me so far, I think they only count towards 3D parts. When making Vader, I gave him a shaved head since they dont have his hair, and that reset all my points to full. His mask, singlet, "Vader Time" across the chest, none of that took any points. I really only see the points being a problem for people with elaborate entrance attire.

The one problem with points I've had at all was in giving a guy an alternate attire and it couldn't quite pull off a full pants / coat / shirt / boots / sunglasses look - and even then, I just had to drop the sunglasses which are all of two points.

The one problem with points I've had at all was in giving a guy an alternate attire and it couldn't quite pull off a full pants / coat / shirt / boots / sunglasses look - and even then, I just had to drop the sunglasses which are all of two points. I hope there's a patch that reduces the number of points used on the major ones (hair, jackets) by like 2-5 points each... |

Best wrestling game I've played in while. Just had a best of 5 series with Koslov for the #1 contender for the ECW title. Ended in an extreme rules match (I actually lost the first 3 matches) and it hasn't taken long to build my guy to a solid 87 rating.
Its really simple, but I made a pretty tight CAF: reverse ddt-->suplex drop-->Suplex impact 3.

Must say, I'm completely addicted to Scramble matches. They're so totally unpredictable and don't feel like twenty minutes have passed at all by the time they're done.

So how does this compare to '09? Keep in mind I did enjoy '09 quite a bit. Not quite as much as HCTP or '06, but it's still pretty good IMO. Also, what bonus belts are in this game besides the official, current WWE belts? Are the Divas and updated ECW titles in? Did they add or take away any from '09? I know this is a long shot, but is Create-a-Belt back?  |

Only new title besides it and the new ECW title is the Champion of Champions belt. So far seems way better than 2009, which I was still playing as of a few weeks ago myself. |

I like it quite a bit more than '09 although it's kind of hard to commit totally to that as I've only played it for about 4 hours total...it could be that it's just really fresh to me as well.
I really love superstar threads..it's about time we got that.

I wrote this storyline where a brain damaged John Cena (thanks to Orton) is convinced that he's Bret Hart (I gave him Bret's theme, entrance and moveset) and that Mike Knox is Stu.
He randomly cuts promos about the screwjob and Jean Pierre Lafite stealing his jacket. I plan on booking a grudge match between him and Vince (once I unlock him) for Survivor Series.
I love this game.

Been playing it for most of the day so far. It's a lot of fun, I like the changes to the actual wrestling. The chain-grappling and new way of putting in submissions is really cool. Everything about it is much smoother and more realistic too.
Superstar threads is good too. I've been altering quite a few superstars gear. It's a simple but enjoyable addition.
The Scramble matches ok. But a bit annoying because it's almost impossible to pin anyone! Attempts always get broken up. Similar to how Money in the Bank matches never end on SvR because someone always gets up to knock the ladder over!

I really love how you can change mid grapple to a different grapple. Makes it look more realistic especially transitioning from a back grapple to the arm lock into a Go to sleep. Looks effing awesome.
I'm loving the game play.
Anyone notice they've also added video to the monitors in the announce tables? I'm a mark for the little details like that.

I'd join if I could, but I can't really afford to shell out for Live each month, plus I don't really have any constant way to get the 360 online. Also - Career Mode really is greatly improved. Awesomely quick way to raise stats, it doesn't delete them when you start up in it like before, and your foes actually fight. |

In the UK the game is not out until Friday but most of my questions concerning the game have been answered apart from one.
Can anybody tell me if it is still possible to set a table on fire in an Extreme Rules match?

If the kid-friendly thing would have been a problem, then there would be no blood in this game. Frankly, if I had to choose between blood or intergender violence, I'd go with blood. What if when you busted someone's head opem, the screen went to black and white, like on the Smackdown DVD? |

I just learned that CAW mode on the PS2 version has been untouched. Looks like I'll be buying that one next week. If I still the money, that is.
