Pre-TNA
Present Day
Out of these two themes. Which do you prefer?
I like the present day one the best.
(I know he had more like "At Last" and the classic E&C theme, but I wanted to use these two because they are the same song but different versions.)

Pre-TNA for sure. Waterproof Blonde kicks ass!

I can't stand his theme now.

The Story of the Year version is quite respectable, but the original had a much more unique and compelling sound.

I like both versions of Just Close Your Eyes, but Waterproof Blonde's version blows Story of the Year's out of the water on a musical level.
For getting a crowd fired up, though, Story of the Year's intro's probably much better. I'll say Story of the Year's better for a face, Waterproof Blonde's better for a heel.

Waterproof Blonde's version. It had a much grander sound, and a better mark out intro.
The new one is still good, though.
I'd agree that the pompous nature of the first one fit his heel persona better than it would his face persona. But then, heel Christian was fantastic.

On that note I would mark if Christian turned heel and started using the Waterproof Blonde version again.

His current version works best for him as a Face.

The current one by far. The original was annoying. Plus Story of the Year kicks all kinds of ass

Story of the year, the old theme reminds me of him being let go while the new one makes me happy that he is being a focal point of a show. Both rock hard though, and so does "At last".

I think they're both great in their own way, and both work for him in his particular gimmick at the time. With that said I really do want to see him sport the Waterproof Blonde version one more time just cause it's so awesome.
But yeah, as far as theme's go it's hard to beat Christian.

I can listen to the new one all the way through, so the new one gets my vote.

I LOVE the Waterproof Blonde/TNA mix of Christian's themes. The 2 sound so similar that they mesh perfectly. I've got it as his theme in SvR 2010. SotY's version is good, but just can't out-awesome the original.

I like both about equally, but like Lizuka said, Story of the Year for face, Waterproof Blonde for heel.
That being said, I wonder if they changed it due to Waterproof Blonde being defunct. I guess it's possible there could of been an issue obtaining the rights that way. That, or they just wanted a band they could get to play live if they want to go that route down the line.

Tough call. I'll go with the new one since it's slightly harder

So... If anyone does a mesh-up theme, will it be Story of the Blonde or Waterproof Year?

I loved his old one at the time but now think I like this one a lot better. This one definitely is better for a face for a crowd pop.
