WWE limited wrestlers from doing a lot of moves like piledrivers/stuff involving necks...so there are some limitations

Honestly, you people are forgetting the single worst finisher out there today
the 619, If the F-5 is the "perfect" finisher for its unpredictablity, speed, and Knockout potential. the 619 is its polar opposite.
The setup is contrived and easy to escape, the move itself is too flashy, and it looks like it has all the power of a present day DDT

When the DDT became a transitional move, finishers died. I agree to an extent, I don't think finishers are dead, but like Aaron E. Dangerously said, there are plenty of good finishers not only in the WWE but in wrestling in general. I have no complaints at all in that department.
