If Tony Atlas can somehow get in, then both Warrior and Goldberg should be in, on sheer popularity alone.

What was his contribution for the bussniess again ? Main eventing a highly successful WrestleMania with Hulk Hogan. Selling a ton of merchandise. Being the only wrestler to beat Hogan clean during the Hulkamania era. Having excellent matches at WrestleMania (Rude, Hogan, Savage...we'll forget about Hunter and Hercules). Being one of the most popular wrestling stars ever. I'm sorry, but anyone who thinks Warrior shouldn't be in the HOF is insane. Not that the WWE Hall of Fame is anything other than a "if Vince likes you, you're in" propanga machine, but if we're going on impact to the business, Warrior had a ton of it. Certainly more than Bob Orton, Tony Atlas, and others who have made it in. We're talking about one of the biggest stars to come out of the Hogan era. He might be a bigot and homophobe in real life, but if we're judging him solely on his wrestling career, then he should get in. Of course, he and Savage will never get any recognition ever again.

If the Hall of Fame was an actual body governed by actual rules, guidelines, and criteria for induction then I'd lean towards yes.
Inasmuch as it's a made up distinction, honorary though it may be, given to whoever the hell Vince wants I'm more apt to say no.

Does he deserve it? Yes, for obvious reasons.
Will he ever get in? No, for obvious reasons.

No. One run with the belt made up of mostly six man tag matches does not a HOFer make.

Yes, he should be inducted.
But please, don't invite him to the ceremony.

He should be inducted. I never was a fan of his but he's done enough to be considered a credible HOF recipient. Plus, the acceptance speech would be insane.

Very true. In real life, he's an idiot, but he was a major figure of pro-wrestling in the late 80's and early 90's and a Household name. I feel worse for Randy. One of the greatest, most influential wrestlers of all time, a man in one of the greatest WM matches of all time (Steamboat/Savage) will likely never be inducted.

I'd have to say yes, he did alot in a short time, and no matter how I feel about him now, he still is deserving

Yes, but I have a feeling that HHH might prevent that from happening. Does HHH have legit heat with Warrior based off of the squash from years ago?

Just because he's a loon doesn't mean he wasn't popular and didn't make money.
Put him in.

There are a whole lot of wrestlers more deserving, but I think he should get in someday. He sucked in the ring, but so what? He was an entertaining character, and that's what matters in "sports entertainment."
Plus, as previously mentioned, the acceptance speech would be INSANE. I always liked his promos. They may not make sense, but god damn.......isn't that what made them memorable in the first place?

should he be inducted? Yes. Into Arkham Asylum. But seriously: If you look really hard, you can kind of catch the flash on the right hand side.

Of course. Why not? He was over. Put on two of the better matches to ever happen at WM (vs. Hogan and vs. Savage). Was a former champ. Has kickass ring music. Sure he should.
He won't, but he should.

yes for sure
Warrior and Hogan made sport entertainment (along with Vince Mcmahon) sure before them there was entertainers like Georgeous George and Billy Graham but Hogan and then Warrior really popularize the entetainment aspect of wrestling
It was not anymore about 2 men in tights playing with each other but it became more then that... guys on steroids who were bigger then life who would cut lunatic promos and sell tons of merchandise

The Warrior's a former WWF champion, had an awesome match with Hogan at WrestleMania, and was face pretty much his entire WWF run. He definitely deserves it, but if he gets it is another story. And we can tHHHank somebody at WWE for that.

Am I the only one who thinks that, hype and face vs face blah blah etc etc aside, the match against Hogan at WM6 was an absolute clusterf***? I realize the irony of this statement, but it looks more like a gay porn than a wrestling match.

This was the match at WrestleMania VI:
1- Look at each other. 2- Push each other down 3- Slam each other 4- Hogan falls down 5- Hogan gets up 6- Greco Roman Match 1 7- Greco Roman Match 2 8- Warrior Wins. 9- Hogan Steals Limelight
The End.
