That's the question I ask all of you crappers. Everytime he is involved in a storyline, he takes an insane amount of punishment that takes its toll on the body. So what do you all think? Is Shane this generation's Dyanmite Kid?

This Generation's Dynamite would have been Brent Albright/Gunnar Scott, since he was being pushed as Benoit's Protege (and Benoit was the 'next' Dynamite).

No, Shane is just Shane....he takes some insane-looking bumps into crash pads and a few legit ones (Angle, KOTR) and is pretty entertaining, but he's no Dynamite.

Not even close. Shane was never a full time performer who was never near in the shape that Dynamite Kid was in. Shane keeps himself in good shape generally and is athletic/acrobatic enough to do those crazy spots. He has a lot of charisma and can put on enjoyable matches. That said, he just can't compare with Dynamite Kid. Kid was nothing near a spot monkey.

Shane McMhaon has always baffled me. Its like he wants to be a full time wreslter (and honestly, if he had done so and trained a lot, dedicating all his time to it, he probably would have been very good) but daddy won't let him. Did he not want to be a wrestler, or was it the fear that no one would have taken him seriously (as the bosses kid).

Dynamite Kid was one of the greatest wrestlers of all time.
Shane-O-Mac is one of the greatest stuntmen to step into a wrestling ring.

I don't know if Vince would have blocked Shane from being a wrestler, since Vince Sr. supposedly did the same to Vince Jr. It's probably partially everyone would think he's only in the position he's in because he's the bosses son, and not any talent he may or may not have. |

This topic gave me a nice little few minutes of laughter, good job.
Not in the slightest can Shane be compared to Dynamite. Shane does what he does, as does whenever Vince does something, that the other boys can't complain about doing it, since the boss and his son have done it.

When on TV, she puts her mug all over whatever show she's on. Shane : When he is on tv (which is usually every 6-8 months, for maybe a month or 2 at a time) he is usually used in somewhat moderation and as I mentioned above, he puts others over winner: Shane ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stephanie: slept with HHH Shane: did not sleep with HHH Winner: Shane......... ok, this last one can be thrown out But in all seriousness, given Steph's god awful track record, can you tell me that Shane wouldnt be a better choice than Nipple H, or Vince who is getting more crazy and out of touch by the day? |
