I think our generation's Dynamite Kid was Chris Benoit, and the next gen's Dynamite Kid has to be Bryan Danielson. You beat me to it. Dragon is somewhere between Dynamite Kid and Bob Backlund on PCP. Diving Headbutt + Crossface Chicken Wing + Cattle Mutilation. Tough to beat. And re no one using horse steroids anymore...Rafael Palmeiro much?

DK did more than just bump. He's without a doubt, one of if not, the best technical wrestler ever.
Shane is more comparable to I'd say johnny knoxville.

This thread is a slap to the face of The Dynamite Kid's legacy.

I liked the Dynamite Kid. Shane is just trying to show he has skills. He also has millions of dollars to heal his broken bones and cuts while if Wrestler A or B were to get wrecked, they couldn't say the same. There goes the money....

I don't get it. At all. It's kind of a small horse, I mean what am I missing? Am I crazy?

Dynamite did so much with so little. Shane did so little with so much. It's intresting you said that, because I really think if Shane trained for it, he could have been a decent wrestler. That being said, I can't fault him for staying out of the ring full time. He would never have been able to get rid of the stigma of being "Vince's kid". He's helping the company in other ways behind the scenes. I wish he'd take a role in creative, as I seem to recall he has a decent mind for the business

I love Shane. I have like, no idea who DK is other than that he apparently inspired Benoit to do stuff and everyone loves him. So... not a clue, but damn, when's the next time Shane's gonna jump off a high place for no logical reason, cuz I'm gonna wanna be there.

god, will we ever get a Dynamite Kid DVD?............................... I think that since, as someone mentioned, the casual fan doesn't know about the Dynamite Kid, their best bet would be to put out a British Bulldogs DVD. As long as it had plenty of Dynamite and Davey Boy's singles matches as well as the tag team matches, I'd be happy...especially if it included Dynamite vs. Bret Hart from stampede wrestling (the one they showed clips of on the Bret Hart dvd)

Shane is just a stunt man who books all his matches against everyone so he looks like a million dollars and whoever he wrestles looks like crap struggling to beat some chubby office suit. Of course if Vince or Steph did this they'd be crucified but people seem to sip Shane O'Mac Kool-Aid so he gets away with it. Nah, hes pretty talented, anyone who can do a Shooting Star Press is. He doesnt just fall onto boxes either...
