This was one of the last times i guess I was genuinely surprised and really into an angle- I Loved Cactus Jack and wasn't really wild about Mankind-didn't like the mask. Then after all the indepth interviews and Mankind teasing multiple personalities-there was the big payoff-Cactus returned and I was even a fan of Dude Love as well-so what are your thoughts and memories of this?

I'll always love the Royal Rumble he came out 3 times. But yeah it was an okay angle, I've never been a massive fan of Foley but it was fun seeing him in 3 different alter ego's. Nothing better than some Sweet Shin Music from Dude Love though

For some reason, Mick standing there as Mankind, admitting he's not enough to face Triple H and simply removing his mask and button shirt to become Cactus Jack is still one of the biggest markout moments of my life. It was so perfect.

Yeah, the time he came out as every single personality during the Royal Rumble was the only real kick I got out of his whole "3 faces" phase. I didn't hate it, but it wasn't one of my favorite angles either.

I was watching the Mick Foley 2 DVD set yesterday that i got recently, reminded me of how awesome the whole thing was. Cactus Jack debuting at MSG has to be my favourite moment of all time, no doubt.

It's one of my favorite angles of all-time. I wish they would do this with other wrestlers. Imagine the Godfather getting pissed to the extent that be becomes Papa Shango.

That would be THE single greatest moment to ever happen. I was hoping the Ministry would kidnap him and he'd return as Papa Shango-he was still VERY over as the Godfather, but lost steam shortly after the Ministry had ended

Foley totally screwed over the Quebecers in that Rumble. They were supposed to get those other 2 spots, dammit!

I credit Mankind and the eventual 3 Faces of Foley as making me watch WWF full time again after I had become a rare, casual viewer sometime in the mid 1990s.

I love the 3 faces of Foley, mostly because I would always be eagerly awaiting my hero, Dude Love, and partly because of my love of all things Foley.

I hated Foley, so 3 versions of Foley was like hell for me.

Those interviews with him and JR were some of the best of Foley's career, and that is saying something. I loved how Mankind evolved in 1997, and how you realized that this guy was not a monster, but a real person. I loved how for weeks and weeks, he would come out and wrestle with a "Pick me Steve" sign on, and once Steve Austin told him no, he came out the next week as Dude Love. I was a huge mark for the Dude back in the day as well.

Yes the angle was good and its hard for me to say if anyone else could or could have ever pull it off as good as foley did.
