Well here it is, as promised at the conclusion of my epic tag tournament.
Now, this is a tournament for wrestlers born outside the USA. This means a few things firstly.
1. No Chris Jericho. Canadian? Perhaps, but born in NY, and I've counted guys who are 'American' but were born elsewhere.
2. As in my last tournament, no Benoit. Not because of any stance on my part, but because of the potential arguments. The same goes for Invader in this tournament, because of the Brody tragedy.
3. Square will actually back me up this time, as he compiles the info for his own tournament and sees the amount of work that goes into these things. NO JOKE VOTING. If you genuinely prefer an underdog etc, then of course vote for them, but no voting just for the upset. It throws the tournament off and is guaranteed to get me pissed very quickly. Same as happened in the last one, people will be 'booted' from the thread.
Besides that, this should be fun, simple because of the sheer number of unknown guys I have listed. The total number is around 600. I say 'around' because I'm allowing a) for repeats of guys under different gimmicks that I missed, b) guys who were in fact born in the USA and c) guys who don't have enough info about them to post anything, so I genuinely don't know how many will be in the first round yet. There is also potential for some major oversights on my part of course, although I did my level best. If at the end of the first round you realise there is someone missing, then please tell me and they'll get included. I won't post the full list, because that would make everybody's brain hurt, but if you REALLY would like to help me out, let me know via PM, and I'll PM you the list for your perusal, to see if there is anybody I've missed (I'm almost certain their will be a few Puro guys at least).
A lot of the matches, especially early on will be between guys who really are little known or forgotten, so judge them as best you can with the info I've compiled
So without much further ado, here is our first matchup;
