I apologize if there are more examples of this in places other than WWE; if it needs to be moved, go for it.
My question is, can we come up with a complete list of guys who have won secondary titles (IC, U.S., European, Tag Team, TV, etc.) after having already won (and presumably lost) the WWE or World Heavyweight championship? Here's a list of ones I could think of off the top of my head.
Ric Flair (Intercontinental, World Tag Team [twice] in WWE; U.S. in WCW)
Shawn Michaels (European title while still WWE champion)
HHH (won the IC title while part of the Two-Man Power Trip with WWE champion "Stone Cold" Steve Austin)
Chris Jericho (IC after being Undisputed champion)
Chris Benoit (won U.S. title after being WHC)
Batista (won WWE Tag Team titles with Rey Misterio while already WHC)
Hulk Hogan (won World Tag Team titles with Edge after being WWE champion)
Randy Orton (won World Tag Team titles with Edge after being WHC)
Edge (see Orton)
and to a lesser extent, Chyna (Women's champion after being IC champion)
Can anyone think of others? I know there has to be more....

Eddie Guerrero. Won the Tag Team Titles with Rey after his run with the WWE Championship.

Undertaker had a few tag title runs after his WWE title reigns in the 90s. Oh, right. How could I forget? He had an awesome Hardcore title run, too. |

Kane won the IC, Hardcore, & Tag belts after becoming the WWF champion
Trish won the hardcore title after winning the womans belt

What about Jacqueline? She won the Women's title before in the 90's but when she made her return on 2004, she won the Cruiserweight title from Chavo.

Did Bret hold the IC title after his initial WHC run? I don't think so, but I can't believe I forgot his U.S. title run in WCW after he was WWE champion ... and I think his Tag Title run with Goldberg was after or during his WCW title reign. (also, add Goldberg to the list - Tag titles with Bret after beating Hogan for the WCW belt; also i think Goldy had another U.S. title run after his WHC run.) EDIT: Also, this is pushing it because it jumps between organizations, but DDP won the European title and the WCW (and maybe WWE?) Tag Team title (with Kanyon) after already being WCW champion. |

Pedro Morales was I/C champion in the 80's after being the heavyweight champion in the 70's.
Shawn Michaels won the tag team straps with Austin in the summer of 1997.

To go old school, Pedro Morales won the IC and tag team championship after being WWWF champ. Also, the Iron Sheik was was a tag champion after being WWF champ.
