First off, Snitsky is very entertaining in that "So crazy you don't know what he'll do next" kind of way.
Second, he's a very underrated worker. Sure he's no Benoit on the mat and won't wrestle some 30 minute epic. But he's a damn good big man. I remember I went to a house show with Edge & Sntisky v. Kane & someone else, and Snitsky was actually the best guy in there that night (mostly because Edge was the cowardly heel that wouldn't wrestle Kane).

I guess Snitsky can be entertaining at times but he sure as hell will NOT help ECW in any way shape or form

The only thing that will help ECW is to make it more like ECW and let it develop its own identity. And no one said Snitsky would save ECW either, just that he'd be used. Which sure as hell ain't happening right now.

I could buy Snitsky as ECW Champion, no lie. He clearly has intensity, and anybody who punts babies HAS to be extreme.
EDIT: I don't really like him that much, i just figure ECW is where he could logically be.

If Snitsky goes to ECW, it just proves to me that it's Heat Version 2

So if Snitsky goes to ECW, will that give ECW enough of a push so that it can have it's own house shows again?

So if Snitsky goes to ECW, will that give ECW enough of a push so that it can have it's own house shows again? If anything, it'll make WWE realize that ECW needs to be an internet-only show... much like its twin.

This is how a "three brand" model should have been:
WWE (the RAW timeslot)- Obviously for WWE fans. Hosses, safe-style, sleaze, Kiss My Ass Clubs, skits, sketches, Divas etc....All the typical WWE staples.
WCW (the Smackdown timeslot)- More along the lines of TNA/ROH. More in-ring action. Cruiserweights. Faster style. More highspots etc....
ECW (the current timeslot)- Based on ONS. More violent. Small arenas. Profanity. Adult storylines and characters...and so forth.
This would have allowed WWE (as a company) to market three distinct products to all segments of the fanbase. Under this plan, Snitsky could stay with the other hosses on RAW.

Eh I say good for Snitsky. The dude seems like he loves his job, I'm glad he'll have a bigger role in ECW.

I don't understand the irrational love for the guy around here, but I'd love to see him having something to do.

Thats great if its true. I've actually wanted this all along as I brought a "SNITSKY TO ECW" sign that got taken (Along with all my other signs, damn nazis) at D2D.
Snitsky's a REAL underrated guy, he's quite decent in the ring, and can be downright hilarious on the mic if he's booked as a face and not a typical snarling big man Test heel
Snitsky > Test > Lashley
