He could still work there, and The magazine could have been confused, with his short tenure with the WWE earlier in the year during the Vince vs. Shawn thing, building up to Wrestlemania, when he couldn't get off from his parole officer. He was hired in the WWE twice this year remember. But it hasn't been mentioned anywhere. Keller, Schererer or Meltzer have not mentioned him being rehired. And you think they would have.

He was fired in March, and was rehired like in September... and then the rumor was he was fired... which is what he's denied... but the WWE have made no mention of.

Steph: Marty Janetty. HHH: Who's he? Dunn: You know,Homelss looking guy, Used to tag with Shawn. HHH: Oh, yeah. Steph: Yeah, we can't actually find a record of him being a current employee here. Dunn: I looked into it more deeply and I found that apparently what happened is that he was laid off five years ago and no one ever told him about it; but through some kind of glitch in the payroll department, he still gets a paycheck. Steph: So we just went ahead and fixed the glitch. Vince: Great. HHH: So, uh, Marty has been let go? Steph: Well, just a second there, professor. We, uh, we fixed the *glitch*. So he won't be receiving a paycheck anymore, so it'll just work itself out naturally. Dunn: We always like to avoid confrontation, whenever possible. Problem is solved from your end. Stephanie McMahon <> Ron Livingston.

That guy is just plain sad. In no way should a 44 year old man be on his myspace, being friends with cats and whatever you call that other thing and typing "sheeee-it."

Maybe he's always eating Grapenuts cereal everytime Vince McMahon tries to tell him he's fired. Vince McMahon: You're FIRED! Marty Jannety: *eats his grapenuts doesn't hear a word several months later Vince: I fired you months ago but everyday you still come in, go home Marty: *Still eating grapenuts still doesn't hear it

What "Match of the Decade" did he partake in? I was wondering that myself. He was in PWI's 1993 Match of the Year with Shawn Michaels. It was a fantastic match but it wasn't even the match of that decade. I love Marty. I'd love to see him come back. He's always impressed the hell out of me in the ring. I hate to say it, but with this "match of the decade" thing, as well as all the other fired/not fired business, he seems a little delusional to me. There's something wrong with him. I hope he's right, but all signs see to point to him being severely screwed up. I hope not.

Was there an actual "We wish Marty Jannetty the best in his future endeavors" post on WWE.com?

I think Marty Wright was supposed to be Marty Jannetty back when Boogey was fired in September.
