I think it was Anderson Cooper, not a woman. Even worse, then. This may just be me, but I have an inexplicable hatred for Cooper. I don't like CNN, but I dislike Cooper most of all. His program has such a 'can't miss' entertainment gimmick to it, like them attaching headlines like 'Showdown in Iraq!' to serious issues. Plus, the guy strikes me as a total f***tard.

I don't know about that. I'm pretty sure it wasn't the case when the Turner owned WCW was still around. I don't believe I've ever seen a news network or major magazine or whatever call wrestlers anything but big idiots who take pratfalls. And whenever you see clips of wrestling in the news, what do you see? AJ Styles doing impressive feats of acrobatics? Benoit or Finlay handing out stiff shots? No, you see the worst wrestlers in the worst matches, putting on terrible performances. At times like that you'd wish Amazing Red was the poster boy for pro-wrestling. "all pro-wrestlers look like little children and do amazing acrobatics".

And Edge wins one more place in my Mark-Outs list !
Seriously, did anyone say "pheew, it' s all fake, he didn' t even really cut his feet" when watching Saw ? I doubt it, and I know who I am to doubt it.

They've promoted Foley's books and showed him and pro wrestling in a very tasteful light.

Is that the same NBC that interviewed him about violence in wrestling, and blatantly edited the entire interview to make him look like a horrible person? I remember reading in his book that a major news network showed him a clip of a couple of kids exchanging holds, to which he said 'that looks like fun'. Then they showed him some idiots hitting one another with light tubes and doing dives off garages, wherein he told the viewers to never do such things. So what do they do? Edit it so he says 'that looks like fun' to the morons killing one another, of course.

Fake has always been a very hard word and should never be used against the wrestlers who risk their lives for this business. While results are predetermined, the risks in those matches are very real. Edge pwned this women ins 7 different levels. *Insert funny picture here*

At times like that you'd wish Amazing Red was the poster boy for pro-wrestling. "all pro-wrestlers look like little children and do amazing acrobatics". In which case, they'd bring up a certain former ROH owner and we'd have the headline 'Grappling with Pedophiles?' on CNN, the biggest NEWZ network in the world.

I suppose everyone needs someone to look down upon.
Especially redundant news networks that spend as much time debating celebrity marriages and Paris Hilton's choice of dress than serious issues like, oh, I don't know, the ongoing war.

So, was it Cooper or some woman? The transcript I read featured Cooper, Edge, and Shelton.

It was a woman, I forgot her last name though. I taped the exchange so when I rewatch it I will have a definate answer to her name.

Edge should have slapped a ho. I HATE the "wresting is fake" crap. "Predetermined" is more accurate. Indeed, but I think the interview was done via sattelite ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)
