There was a PPV this year, I'm thinking SummerSlam, where (again I think) Finlay, Regal and Kennedy beatdown Triple H and attacked him with chairs and put him through a table, then he got up about 4 or 5 minutes later completely unharmed and energetic, I thought that was pretty lame

John Cena. The guy sells the move for like, 10 seconds, than he just ignore the pain.

When I was wrestling one of my friends once(and it wasn't a shoot), and gave him a bunch of Flair punches and chops and he no-sold them. I later gave him a side backbreaker, which he got right back up from.
That's a blatant no-sell.

That's more of an Oversell than a No-Sell.

* The jobber's name was Joe Thurman. Vader was extremely upset about it and reportedly sobbed heavily backstage after it happened. As for the biggest no-sell? Well the one above was extremely bad. What actually happened was this, Vader hit Hogan with the bomb and Hogan laid there for about 1 sec. He then got up assuming the camera was off of him. It wasn't. It did make Vader look like complete crap, and he pretty much lost all credibility in America after that. (See his WWF run). Warrior no selling the pedigree was both horrible and hilarious at the same time. Seeing HHH as the political animal he is now, I think "Wow. Maybe Warrior W. Warrior knew more than we give him credit for." HHH- "Do you remember Wrestlemania 12?" Warrior- "No" HHH- "I Do. Next!" ---- James Guttman But the absolute worse of all time is actually a reverse no-sell. Of course it involves Hogan. Hogan and Savage were tagging together in a match. Don't remember against who, but I think Money Inc. It's not important. Anyway, Hogan was down and instructed Savage to climb up to the top. Savage climbed up and hit his elbow drop ON HOGAN. Hogan IMMEDIATELY POPPED UP, HULKED UP and won the match. So the moral of the story. Savage's finisher was soooooooo devastaing that it could actually revive someone instead of destroying them. This one act hurt the credibility of both the opponent's and the partner. Thus the Legend of the Reviving Elbow is Retold. Ahem, www.youtube.com/watch?v=25AT2EyAIw4&mode=related&search=Ok...no. I know i just saw that and watced it happen but i think it's so goddamn stupid that it couldn't have really happened.

HHH no-selling Death. Austin dropped HHH from a junked car on a crane, the announcers sold it like Austin had murdered him. Hunter was back on RAW the next day, like nothing had ever happened. That's not entirely true. Hunter missed RAW the next night and appeared the following week unharmed.

Ok...no. I know i just saw that and watced it happen but i think it's so goddamn stupid that it couldn't have really happened. I agree 1000%........and on a sidenote, THAt clip right there is DAMNING evidence of just how much "cronyism" was going on in wCw with Hogan and his buddies. Just off the top of my head...... 1. Savage is made to don the red and yellow.....Hogan's colors, thus making Savage seem like a total tool and lacky of the Hulkster, instead of a star in his own right. 2. Savage's finisher is made a mockery of, NOT Hogan's pathetic legdrop. 3. Hogan's butt-buddy, Fruity Bruti is the one to put Hogan down and out with his sleeper hold. 4. Hogan, not Savage, is the one to clean house on the dastardly heels at the end (Although Savage DOES toss Sullivan, it's made to look incidental next to the Hulkster smiting Beefcake) , because, I guess Savage wasn't man enough to do this on his OWN. He NEEDED the Hulkster to take care of the heels. THAT made Savage look like crap, too. I dare someone to watch that clip and NOT see Hogan's machinations at work.

All of what you just said is what I thought when watching that. Its good to know if Im out cold that a flying elbow drop can revive me and give me the stregnth to take out my enemies

And Slickness.....can you imagine the Vesuvian eruption that would occur if someone were to have the temerity to ask the Hulkster to revive a teammate with his Legdrop?
"Well, you know, BRUTHER.....the Legdrop is a DEADLY finisher, BRAH! It killed the 9 foot tall, 1000 pound Andre the Giant DEAD at WrestleMania 4 BRAH! It could NEVER revive someone, DUUDE! That's the STUPIDEST thing I've ever heard, BRUTHER! *SNORTS* Now that pansy elbow of Savage's on the other hand...."

The reviving elbow nearly breaks kayfabe in sheer stupidity.
I remember once on a Raw not too long back, Murdoch came up behind Michaels and punched him a few times. Michaels, however, was legit distracted by something and didn't react AT ALL. I remember very vividly that Murdoch actually had to pat Michaels on the back, Michaels turns around, and finally Michaels starts reeling.

It was mentioned earlier on. I must have missed it. Hogan's no sell looks fine compared to the Warrior's burial of Savage's finisher. And since we're discussing Savage's elbow drop, I wanna mention that nobody does a better one than him

Slickness.....I concur with your elbow praise.
Do you remember back duing the "Steph + Test = LOVE" days, the announcers putting over Test's attempt at a Big Elbow as being "Savage-esque"? I damn near did a spit take every time I heard that.
BLASPEMHY!

Not to go off topic, but Savage made any edition of Nitro watchable by merely making his entrance with Mona (Aka Molly Holly) and Gorgeous George as his valets.
And to get back on topic, Warrior was the King of No Sells....until being dethroned by the King of Kings of No Sells, HHH.
God, the Booker T 'Mania match is indictment enough of HHH itself.

What about Savio Vega no-selling the piledriver from Lawler at Survivor Series '95? (after the first one he kicked out at 2, after the second one he got up immediately and tagged to 'Taker!)
