And the fans voted against it so it won't happen. That whole team is just becoming one big circus act. Granted, it was a circus act from the word go, but this is getting stupid.

I figured Chris' return to the game would be a little shaky, given the fact that he hasn't played for two years.
Nope. 2 games so far, 34/48, 395 yards, 13 TDs, 2 INTs, 1 rushing TD. And 2-0.

Also, the NAL recently announced planned expansion for next season already, with the first team being the Jersey Flight.
Don't know about this move, since the league already has issues with a travel-only team out of Atlanta masquerading as the Dayton Wolfpack.

The Wall Street Journal reported last week that Project FANChise, owner of both the Salt Lake Screaming Eagles and Colorado Crush of the IFL, is looking to create an indoor football league that the fans decide everything. This new league, called the Interactive Football League, is going to have 8 teams run out of one location.
They were looking to fold both the Screaming Eagles and Crush immediately, but the IFL stated they would sue Project FANChise if they did that. The IFL also fined Project FANChise for putting the recent Colorado/Salt Lake game on TwitchTV, ignoring the deal the IFL had in place with YouTube.
This whole ordeal is getting worse and worse, and it's making the game look bad.

Sadly, indoor football will never get out of carny BS like this. It's an unfortunate thing. Right now, both the Screaming Eagles and Crush will be gone after the end of the season (with rumors floating around that the Crush may be done before the week is over), and Cedar Rapids is looking to be done by the season's end. I've seen rumors that the Rattlers may head back to the AFL, but I don't know how wise that would be, since they're on the west coast, and everyone else is on the east coast. The IFL and CIF just need to combine. But I don't see that happening, since there's a number of teams that still have a grudge against the Sioux Falls Storm. It's times like these that make it hard to be an indoor football superfan.

The CIF has imposed fines and penalties on the Dodge City Law for violations of league rules.

And the Playoffs are set for the Champions Indoor Football League.
In the North Division, the Sioux City Bandits lock up the 1 seed with a 9-3 record and host the Bismarck Bucks, who have a 5-7 record, in the first round. The 2 seed goes to the Omaha Beef, at 7-5, and they host the 3 seed Bloomington Edge, also with a 7-5 record.
In the South Division, the Amarillo Venom lock up the 1 seed with a 9-3 record, and host the 7-5 4 seed, the Duke City Gladiators. And the 2 Seed, the 8-4 Texas Revolution, host the 7-5 3 seed, the Dodge City Law, who would've been the 1 seed at 9-3, but as reported earlier, they had to forfeit 2 wins due to numerous violations within the CIF rules and guidelines.

It's playoff season in indoor football, and the playoffs are under way in the CIF, and the regular season finale begins this weekend in the IFL, with MAJOR playoff implications.
In the CIF, the Conference Championships are set. In the North Conference, it's a battle of I-29 rivals, as the Omaha Beef travel north to face the Sioux City Bandits. Sioux City stomped Bismarck in the opening round, 82-43, while the Beef battled past Bloomington, 43-30. In the South Conference, another rivalry continues, as the Texas Revolution travel to Amarillo and face the Amarillo Venom. The Revolution survived the Dodge City Law, 63-59, while the Venom took down the Duke City Gladiators, 70-41.
In the IFL, MAJOR playoff implications are on the line this weekend, as 5 teams are fighting for 3 playoff spots.
In the Intense Conference, the Arizona Rattlers have locked up the 1-seed, after starting the season 0-2. Who they will face in the Conference Championship is the Ultimate Question. The Nebraska Danger and the Spokane Empire are both tied for the 2nd spot at 8-7. However, the Danger holds the tiebreaker, as they defeated the Empire, 42-36, way back in April. For the Empire to make the playoffs, they need to beat the Salt Lake Screaming Eagles AND have Nebraska lose to Wichita Falls in order to make it. Nebraska's coming off a close 41-38 loss to the Sioux Falls Storm, and both teams are feeling the pressure, as Spokane not only released their QB Charles Dowdell a couple weeks ago, but their big time receiver Samuel Charles is injured, and another star receiver Bryan Pray could be suspended this final game due to an incident against Iowa last week. Add the fact that both of Spokane's new QBs have been playing somewhat mediocre, it's looking like the defending Intense Conference Champions' season could be derailing right before their eyes.
In the United Conference, it's down to three teams: The Sioux Falls Storm, the Iowa Barnstormers, and the Wichita Falls Nighthawks. The Storm and Barnstormers sit at 13-2, while the Nighthawks sit at 12-3. Sioux Falls also travels to Des Moines this weekend to face Iowa in the regular season finale for both teams. If the Storm lose and the Nighthawks win this weekend, the Storm are out of the playoffs at 13-3, due to Wichita Falls beating them in 2 of the 3 games they faced off this year, and the United Conference Championship would be in Des Moines. However, if the Storm wins and Wichita Falls wins, Iowa would be on the outside looking in, due to Wichita Falls' strength of schedule being better than Iowa's, and the United Conference Championship would be in Sioux Falls for the 8th straight year. However, if Wichita Falls loses, they're out, and the winner of the Sioux Falls/Iowa game hosts the United Conference Championship in a rematch of the last week. So this is looking to be an intense final weekend, as there will be one team with a great record on the outside, looking in.

And the Indoor Football League Conference Championships have been set.
In the United Conference, the Sioux Falls Storm, at 14-2, will host the Iowa Barnstormers, at 13-3. The Barnstormers made it in after the Wichita Falls Nighthawks fell to the Nebraska Danger in the final week of the regular season, and end their season at 12-4.
In the Intense Conference, the Arizona Rattlers, at 12-4, will host the Nebraska Danger, at 9-7. The Danger make it after the Spokane Empire fell to the Salt Lake Screaming Eagles, and finish their season 8-8.

I don't know how long it's been there or if it just launched, but the CIF has a dedicated channel on Pluto TV. I was flipping through the channel guide and just happened to see it.
The championship game is tomorrow so I'll check it out. It's been a long time since I've seen some indoor football.

The championship game is tomorrow so I'll check it out. It's been a long time since I've seen some indoor football. It should be a good one too. The Omaha Beef, one of the oldest indoor football franchises currently, will play for a championship for the first time since 2001, as they battle the Texas Revolution.

Last night, the Texas Revolution downed the Omaha Beef, 59-49, to win Champions Bowl III. The Jacksonville Sharks will battle the Columbus Lions in the Inaugural NAL Championship. And..... United Bowl XIII is set!! The Sioux Falls Storm try for their 11th National Championship, and 7th straight, as they battle the Arizona Rattlers.
