Sioux Falls blows a 42-21 Halftime lead to Iowa and loses 55-49 in OT.
The Storm are 5-7, and are on the verge of missing the playoffs for the first time in over a decade.

The Oakland Panthers have been renamed the Bay Area Panthers and will play at SAP Center in San Jose.
At this point, just rename them the SaberCats.

I'm certain the SaberCats name and trademarks have expired. I know that the AFL went belly-up a few years ago, but does its ownership company still exist in some form? Because I found this on the USPTO website: an active trademark by Arena Football One: Word Mark SAN JOSE SABERCATS Goods and Services IC 041. US 100 101 107. And for the first time since 2009, the Sioux Falls Storm will not be in the United Bowl, as they lose to the Arizona Rattlers tonight, 69-42.
The semis are set for next week.
Duke City @ Arizona
Frisco @ Massachusetts

And the Massachusetts Pirates take down the Arizona Rattlers, 37-34 in OT, to win the 2021 United Bowl, and their first championship. First off, congrats to the Pirates, but most importantly..... SUCK IT, ARIZONA!!!!

Massachusetts proved they belonged by not only paying their dues, but winning the big kahuna.
Now, let's see about next year... Northern Arizona is definitely not coming back. f*** that; attendance was bad, the team didn't even try... hell, they fired their coach, but no news was reported outside of a newspaper where you can't get info about it due to a very strict paywall. But, it's Prescott Valley, so watch an indoor soccer team immediately swoop in and fill the arena. I think Cedar Rapids is vulnerable, but that may be just due to a lack of revenue. The arena finally got repaired and renovated, which was badly needed, yet all the time away may be too long for them to stick around.

It’s interesting how at least the NAL and IFL have been broadcasting their games on youtube, good thing for me as their games went from completely being unable to watch to actually being able to watch it

NAL will be under Ironman rules this year, which means other than 4 specialty players, everyone has to play both offense and defense.

I've said this to my friend Ashle, and in the Indoor Football Forum group on Facebook: This will be a f***ing disaster. Injuries will increase, the play performance will decrease, and it won't bring any extra to the gates. This may be what kills the NAL.

And first news of the new year, the Wichita Force have been booted from the CIF, per Commissioner J.R. Bond.
Now this raises many questions. The main one for me is WHEN THE HELL DID THE OWNER OF THE SIOUX CITY BANDITS AND TOPEKA TROPICS BECOME COMMISSIONER?!

And the CIF season is complete. In what is to be remembered as a shitshow of a season, the Salina Liberty d. the Omaha Beef in a rematch of last year's Champions Bowl, 38-34, to win their first league championship.

I haven’t really been paying attention to the NAL but I couldn’t make heads or tails as to why some teams had more games than others. After talking to my brother who’s an Albany Empire über fan, he said that Carolina and Jacksonville opted not to take the two bye weeks that the other 4 teams are taking and as such will play 14 games. Another shitshow of a league.

Also, forgot to report the news, the United Bowl is no more. The IFL is now calling their championship game the Dollar Loan Center GoforBroke.com Indoor Football League National Championship.
And it's gonna be in Vegas for the next three years.
..........Just f***ing die already, IFL.

All they need to do is add "The New Vicious" to the beginning of that bowl name and it'll be perfect.

Yeah, I'd say it was insane.
