Colts wiff on the sack, Brady strikes. 24-7. This is very ugly early.

Ah crap this is turning in to Basketball when the Patriots have the ball. -_- It's turning into the Pats Titans game from earlier this season. Brady is ripping the Colts defense to shreds.

Hmm, well it shows that even Unbeaten teams can collapse when playing other good teams.

TD Colts. Long gap to close, but they're getting some fire back under their asses.

So here are the current NFC standings:
NOL - 9-0 MIN - 8-1
DAL and ARI - 6-3 PHI, ATL, GBA, NYG - 5-4 SFO, CHI, CAR - 4-5 WAS and SEA - 3-6
TBA, DET, STL - 1-8
And don't look now, but it could be even more bleh after next week:
*Philadelphia at Chicago: this is exactly the kind of game decent Eagles teams lose and bad Bears teams win, ones where the weather turns and the Pillsbury Doughcoach's inability to manage the clock in running weather undercomes the Bears' poor line play.
*Washington at Dallas: rivalry game, potential O-line issues for Dallas, Washington getting past the "we hate life" stage and approaching the "f*** Dan Snyder, we're playing for pride" stage.
*Atlanta at New York Giants: two teams that badly need a win, period, let alone a win over a good team; NYG's streak and bye up against the Falcons' possible loss of Turner.
*San Francisco at Green Bay: mediocre teams with serious flaws that each own a tiebreaker over Chicago, so this could be an important game for the #6 spot if either can get hot (remember who is in their respective divisions: DET, CHI, SEA, STL).
*Seattle at Minnesota: the Vikes have been playing down recently, and the Seahawks are at the point where they can be a spoiler because they haven't completely quit yet because their division is only okay.
*Arizona at St. Louis: perfect trap game with the indoor conditions for Warner and the game seeming way too easy; gotta wonder if any old Cards fans will show up to drown out what Rams fans remain, though.
*Miami at Carolina: the Panthers figured out how to win again, and the Dolphins are turning themselves into the Flash Funk of the NFL - all flash and no aspirations of anything serious.
If the games play out just right, we could have: New Orleans - 10-0 Minnesota - 8-2 Dallas - 6-4 Arizona - 6-4 Atlanta - 6-4 San Francisco - 5-5 Green Bay - 5-5 Atlanta - 5-5 Chicago - 5-5 Philadelphia - 5-5 Carolina - 5-5 Washington - 4-6 Seattle - 4-6 St. Louis - 2-8 Detroit - 2-8 (home vs. CLE) Tampa Bay - 1-9
Tell me that isn't absolutely hideous. Ladies and Gents, your NFL parity at work!!!

Indy really needed that three and out. They can cut this gap by the half.

And the Colts defense steps up.
They have to score on this possession. They're taking back momentum.

That drop was all Garcon. He has to reel that in.'
Now a false start on him. Not a great game so far for Pierre.

Brady has stopped going to Moss, and it's back to back punts.

Did a Patriots player just do the "you can't see me" gesture after a good play by his punter?

Hey a quality played game. nice to see one of those today. Are those allowed? and encouraged. Though to Dallas fans they're kinda like Bigfoot.. every now and then we see evidence, but mostly it's blurry and unconvincing.
