You know whats intresting about this thread, how many of these games are sequels as compared to new titles. I know Bioshock was a great game and expect 2 to be great. But how many of them are basically repackages with new graphics? Btw, Victoria 2, I can't wait. I've noticed this as well, but in all honesty I think it's more of a rejoicing occasion. While yes it is a season of sequals, it's also a season of FIRST sequals, ergo these are new-ish extensions of something lacking in gaming in general, successful new IPs. WE told the companies we didn't want the same old thing that had been cranked out before, they listened and when we liked what we saw, they gave us more. While I'm not usually one to buy something based solely on graphical upgrades and the like, in the Case of Bioshock and Mass Effect when the original formula worked as well as it did, why make a widely divergent game as a follow-up?

Looking forward to Super Mario Galaxy 2 as well.

These are the "next" games covered... Alan Wake Bayonetta BioShock 2 Crackdown 2 Dante's Inferno Dead Rising 2 Enslaved Just Cause 2 Lost Planet 2 Mass Effect 2 Nintey-Nine Nights II Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing Super Street Fighter IV Tropico 3 So out of 14 games they're covering... 9 are sequels.

I think the problem was that Red Dead Revolver was such a terrible game. It was supposed to be GTA in the Wild West, and what we got was a glitchy suckfest of a third-person shooter. It's fitting that the title of the new one is "Redemption". (I hope. I really wanted to enjoy Red Dead Revolver, but.........it just wasn't that good.)

It was pretty simple and straightforward, but I think that's what I liked about it. It felt kinda old-school and just straight-up fun. The Ennio Morricone soundtrack certainly helped, too. But yeah, I'm definitely looking forward to Redemption. It looks great.
