LSU hit a bomb of a pass on 4th and 26, but then with 1 second to go, instead of putting their field goal unit on to win the game, they try and run a regular play, and time runs out on them. Ole Miss win 25-23. The real stupidity was waiting 20 some seconds to call a timeout after the sack on third down.

ESPN BCS guru Brad Edwards reports today on ESPN Radio Penn State will be selected over Iowa for Fiesta Bowl. Wouldn't have happened if Iowa had won those 2 games they lost. Or one perhaps.

Of those teams listed, which ones won't get a bowl game? Because at this rate, Notre Dame will certainly get invited just because they're Notre Dame. More big bucks than Nevada.

ESPN BCS guru Brad Edwards reports today on ESPN Radio Penn State will be selected over Iowa for Fiesta Bowl. Did he report that or was that his prediction? Several other places are reporting they believe they will take Iowa. Truth is, no one will know until December 5.

Sadly this is where the politics of BCS football could get in the way. Same record + head to head win = Iowa should go over Penn State, period. Penn State brand name + Joe Pa = good chance it won't happen, for TV and ticket reasons.

Penn State brand name + Joe Pa = good chance it won't happen, for TV and ticket reasons. Tickets won't matter. Iowa will actually travel better than Penn State. Television likely won't matter as ad revenue has already been sold for this year, and its the last year of the television contract. I really don't buy this to be honest, and I certainly know the decision hasn't been made. I still think its Oklahoma State and not Penn State which is Iowa's biggest obstacle to the BCS.

Kentucky scores and cuts the lead in Athens to 27-20. They want this win badly.

Kentucky leads at Georgia 34-27 after Cox throws an indefensible interception on a screen pass.

Kentucky beats Georgia 34-27. Kentucky this season won at Auburn for the first time in 50+ years, and at Georgia for the first time in 35+ years.
Special year for the Cats. Time to end the Tennessee losing streak at home on senior day next week.
