Kentucky loses in OT 30-24, now 25 in a row to Tennessee. Joker Phillips single handedly stole this game from his own team. I'm going to be sick.

I've got to agree with the crowd on that pass interference call, it was bullshit.

Gerhart with a touchdown pass, and it better remain a touchdown pass because that was a hell of a catch.
Stanford leads 45-38 with less than a minute left.

Charlie Weis is a great offensive mind, and he has proven himself to be a great recruiter at Notre Dame. HOWEVER, he's been fairly poor when it comes to developing players. Looking at how highly touted his classes have been, the only guys that are considered great players/prospects are Claussen, Tate, and Floyd (with Rudolph entering that catagory). That's what will kill him. He's got a good staff, but the players just don't develop like they should under him.
If he gets fired, I'll bet anything that Brian Kelly isn't even a top option. 1)He's got a checkered pass that will scare Notre Dame away. 2)They'll be too worried fussing over guys like Urban Meyer and Bob Stoops.

Ugh. Great game in Baton Rouge, but what a roller coaster of emotions.. and then Tejada shanks another field goal in OT to lose it.
Eh, it was an improved season, bring on the Independence Bowl.

Stanford wins. Musberger just had a great line, "You know Herbie, somewhere down there a tree is celebrating." 2)They'll be too worried fussing over guys like Urban Meyer and Bob Stoops. Meyer has said he doesn't want it, he wants to stay at Florida. And so far he hasn't shown to be a Bobby Petrino or Nick Saban, so I'll believe him. Stoops won't leave Oklahoma. He didn't leave when Florida wanted him and I don't see him leaving for Notre Dame. But that's the mindset the school has. It has to be a big name because they're Football University. My guess for next coach of Notre Dame, is Jon Gruden.

Doubt Patterson from TCU takes the job either since he was offered the Auburn job last year. Somebody mentioned Jimmy Harbaugh, but he's still a Michigan man and is loving Stanford. Honestly, they need to look at somebody like Butch Jones at Central Michigan or Kevin Sumlin at Houston. Charlie Strong (Florida DC) is the leading candidate for the Louisville job though.

Hey Notre Dame, we'll give you RichRod and, pay 99% of his salary ~ Michigan Fans I'm a Michigan fan, and I saw enough this year to think RichRod deserves one more year. Still relying heavily on underclassmen, and the defense in undermanned. But between Forcier, Roundtree, Smith, Stonum, Martin, RVB, Warren, Roh, and the incoming recruiting class I've got high expectations next year. Now if we struggle next year, I put a call in to Jimmy Harbaugh

Between the calls of over working players to the horrible coaching (just my opinion though), he has shown he needs to go. I am just hoping we get to Harbaugh before anyone else.

The long wait for SMU is over: With the win over Tulane today they clinch one of C-USA's automatic bids and will go bowling for the first time since getting the death penalty.

I feel bad for the ACC. Their two champions got beat by average SEC teams. (I'm a big UGA fan, but this just hasn't been their year.)

Notre Dame isn't going to get back where they were because they have academic standards, which a lot of big-time recruits don't like. Any coach they get is going to be sabotaged by the unrealistic desire to be the powerhouse they once were, when the school just isn't going to be. They need to be more like Oklahoma. Remember, a player is only academically ineligible if the NCAA finds out.

Not sure if this has been discussed yet, but last night, USC took a knee up 21-7 on UCLA with 54 seconds remaining. UCLA coach Rick Neuheisel took a time out, and on the following play, Pete Carroll called for a play-action pass that went for a USC touchdown.
Then this ensued...
Now, I don't understand for the life of me why Neuheisel called a timeout. It makes no sense, and it was gamesmanship on his behalf. But Carroll decides to take it a step further. As for the USC players taunting on the sidelines, they should realize that as #20 in the nation, their team is a colossal disappointment. They should have been, at the very least, in the Rose Bowl. But they s*** the bed time and time again and now find themselves scrapping to get into the Holiday Bowl.
