I don't look at it as that big a deal. As a USC fan I'm sure this will be dismissed with bias--but it's like Neuheisel (who's run his mouth a little bit) and other UCLA players said after the game--it comes with the game. Neuheisel took the time out, which in a sense gives USC a greenlight to run another play--and if you're going to take that timeout and say "we're still playing the game", then play the game and make an attempt to cover Williams. The taunting is a little over board, but it's a rivalry game and and after a huge defensive struggle I can see why it happened. As for USC--"should be in the Rose Bowl", I'm not so sure about that myself. Great talent, but lost a ton as well. Just because we constantly reload doesn't guarantee anything. I think Oregon is a really good team and has the chemistry that USC doesn't have at this point.

I despise USC, but I have no problem with what they did. Neuheisel was the dumbf*** who took a timeout, and told USC that they were still playing. So USC decided to still play and run a playaction pass. The celebration was a bit much, but the UCLA players have no one to be mad at except for themselves and their coach.

Same response I always have to these stories. You want to not get run up on? Stop them. Do your job and play defense. Don't get pissed because you couldn't.

So what happens if Cincinnati were to lose to Pittsburgh? Wouldn't Cin. get the last at-large bid since they only lost one game?

What I don't understand is, how the heck did GT only drop a few spots after losing to Georgia? Clemson lost to South Carolina and they freakin' plummeted. Georgia isn't that much better than S.C.

Eh, they might be a bad mood and give it to Cinci, a team from a BCS Conference, over Boise. ;D Iowa should be safe thou.

I really am hoping Cincinnati beats Pittsburgh and Texas beats Nebraska so we dont here any legitamate complaints about teams getting snubbed from BCS Bowls (The Top 10 would all be in).

There is a very real possibility the Fiesta might pick Penn State over Iowa despite Iowa beating them by double digits on their own home field. That would really be the only complaint though Nebraska winning would cause a major problem because the reports I'm hearing are that the Fiesta would select a Big Ten team anyway and that would essentially freeze undefeated Boise out. Even though that would benefit my team I will be the first to come here and say that is a crime.

A team defeating another team on the road/on a neutral field, then getting screwed because the team they beat by double digits gets in a higher bowl game than they do. Where have I seen that before... 2008 Red River RivalryTexas - 45Oklahoma - 35Man, it's on the tip of my tongue....

Georgia Southern let HC Chris Hatcher go and hired top assistant Jeff Monken as their new head coach. He served under Paul Johnson at Georgia Southern, Navy, and most recently Georgia Tech as their Slotbacks/ST Coordinator.

The Big XII's rules kept Texas out of the Big XII Title Game. The BCS formula kept Texas out of the National Title Game. With Iowa and Penn State this would be a bowl intentionally passing over a more deserving team for purely financial reasons. That's more unforgivable in my opinion.

Florida wide receiver Carl Moore, who struggled with a back injury all season, will redshirt and return in 2010.

Cincy won't get an at large bid over Boise State. Cincy didn't travel well last team, and Boise State travels well. There is a very real possibility the Fiesta might pick Penn State over Iowa despite Iowa beating them by double digits on their own home field. Hmmm... Texas Tech 39Texas 36There was no way in hell you could make a perfect judgment on that mess.
