I guess the one thing they couldn't save from Death...was the movie.

After the comparison to the Leprechaun series, I am now hoping they do one more and it eds up being Final Destination in Space. Just think, blood and gore in zero gravity! Hey, don't look at me like that. Only if Danzig is shown with Master Shake telling him "See I told you we could get the blood to flow UP the wall"

They should do one more, where Devon Sawa comes back with an inexplicable heel turn and tries to embrace the "Death" he once ran from, becomes the guy who finds ways to kill everyone off. Hell, explain away the sequels as him being the one behind the killings, and eventually come full circle back to the first movie where we find out all the deaths were not just things moving by themselves, but somebody behind the scenes pulling the strings who went through the same thing he had gone through years earlier.
That.... sounds horrible. But I'd love it.

Horror movies dying and not getting sequeals or being re-imagined is simply unamerican. I demand that there be twernty seven more Final Destination.
Seriously I'm one of those people that will watch Jason 35:The Retirment Home Killing spree just because it has jason in it.So make more movies and I'll keep watching them.

Really, there's only so many variations that you can do on a theme. So, it's a good thing they're putting it to bed.
The only problem is, it's probably going to be remade in 5 years anyways, so...

Actually, they didn't want to end the series, but one of them dropped a banana peel, someone else slipped, knocking over a table, which had a fork on it. The fork went into a socket, shorting it out, exploding the room, killing the series.

Pffft. Might as well keep going now. This movie series has already surpased any kind of logic and sense making and gone into "Cool deaths for the sake of seeing awesomeness on screen" since part 2.

Gotta agree with this. I truly am surprised that JAWS has not been remade yet, as out of control as this craze has gotten. Hell, it's 30 years old...doesn't that AUTOMATICALLY qualify a movie to be remade anymore, sight unseen? Guess The Beard must wield some sort of authority and respect still, if one of his most famous movies has never been touched. ;D
