With all the crap MTV's been shuffling off on it's network today, I'm shocked they're not BEGGING Judge for a renewed season. Was watching MTV yesterday, and they were showing South Park (which I love, mind you, but really?), The Addams Family, MADE, and Super Sweet 16. I'd love a return of the duo. But I believe Judge wanted to leave it be. MTV (from what I heard) tried renewing the show, and Judge didn't want anyone else doing it except him, and since he was bored with it and signed a deal with FOX for King of the Hill, decided to just retire them. But I'm hoping since he's done with Hill, two of his movies didn't fare too well (Idiocracy and that one from earlier this year), and Goode Family got cancelled, maybe he'll look into a return for them in some capacity. This. If Beavis and Butthead got a show again, even on MTV2, gettin' into crazy adventures and making fun of all the terrible new videos, I would watch. Imagine them watching Lady Gaga (as mentioned earlier) or some of these terrible emo bands. It would be GREAT. Just don't age them. I'm hoping he does. He's kinda teased it a couple of times. They did something about 2 years ago at the MTV Video Music Awards where Beavis and Butt-head were involved. Then sometime last year with the Jackass thing. I haven't heard of him in new projects, and MTV2 does still show reruns at times. Plus there are a bunch of horrible horrible artists doing videos now. Even if it's not on MTV, I'm sure SpikeTV or Comedy Central can find an opening if he decides to do it.

Also, he used the characters earlier this year to promote his new movie so who the hell knows.

Hell, I'd be happy with just a new movie, or even just a 12 episode mini season to 'test the waters', so to speak.

Do America came on the other night. No matter how many times I watch that movie, it never gets old. As shit as mainstream music is today, I'd kill for this show to return.

Apparently, Judge did an interview recently where he said he's looking at doing a new movie/tv special. Problem he had with doing a movie was it takes at least a year and a half to produce, from writing script to doing the animation, voices, etc. Plus he had three ideas for it: a possible live action feature, or two other ideas: first one is they're still 15 or so, still in high school and another where they're 60 years old and are just two dirty old men sitting on a couch hitting on chicks in their early 20's.

Hmph. I'd rather they stayed in high school, to be honest.

He just thinks the idea of them as old men is funny, so I wouldn't be shocked if there's a fantasy sequence somewhere in the flick (if made), where they're 60.

I’m quite sure that a few years ago in an interview Judge openly stated that he had moved on from Beavis and Butthead and had no plans of ever brining it back. But this was before the sabotaged release of Idiocracy.
