Yeah, it is a bit weird that these 12-year-old girls wear pretty much nothing (I'm looking YOUR way, Dawn!). Dawn is 10...so was May....and so was Misty....Ash REALLY loves traveling around with 10 year old girls, doesn't he? Well, he is like 10 or 11 so thats pretty normal. |

To be honest, in the original Gold/Silver/Crystal, Misty's battle sprite indicated a swimsuit. Also, three years had passed, which probably meant a change in hair (of course, I'm talking about the game series). Personally, some of the gym leaders did gain better clothes (such as Pryce. He's in an icebox and he looks like he's wearing summer clothes in G/S/C!). That said, I can't stand Sabrina's HG/SS design. It just doesn't fit her personality, and I'm saying that since she's my favorite Gym Leader.  This outfit is better. Not more sensible, but I dunno. It just works. |

He spent about two years with her, and two years or so with May. Meaning by the time he got to Dawn, he's 14 or so. |

I like the update with Sabrina,
An about Ash age, He logically should be nearly 15 but the show never touchs on his birthday after the first episode of the orginal season. An anymore we only see age being brought up only when someone starts there own journey.

May has to be older than ten, her boobs are HUGE! When she's introduced, she's just starting her journey, and well every other character seen just starting their journey in the series is 10, the series minimum age requirement to be a trainer. |
