I just listened to their version of Kofi's theme. Holy mother of Osterzone it's like they don't even at least attempt to fake a Jamaican accent. It's sounds Irish or something.

I miss the days when these knockoffs were much more popular (as in, you could find new ones in stores all the time)

Man, that Leif Garrett sure can do a mean cover! I don't know which is better, "The Final Countdown" or his version of "Smells Like Teen Spirit". Leif Garrett did Smells Like Teen Spirit? Did not know that. (Listens to it on YouTube) ![](http://www.dembot.net/images/facepalm/double_trek_facepalm.jpg) Two of the four men in my sig would like to point out that they played on the 'Teen Spirit' cover with Leif Garrett. Take that for what it's worth.

It's not for everyone." Jared: "Yeah, like putting your wiener in the toaster....heehee....I like cookies." Dale: "*grumblegrumble*...well I'm a better drummer than Dave Grohl, so f*** off! *grumblegrumble*." Buzz: "Dale...be nice." Dale: "Yeah yeah..........bastard. *grumble*" Coady: "Yeah well maybe if me and Jared played on it it would've been better." Dale: "Grrr....." Buzz: "Shut up, Coady" Coady: "Yes, sir" Jared: "REAGANOMICS!" Dale: "Damn kids."

Well, at least they have a semi-decent version of "Metal Health (Bang Your Head)" on there, as performed by Quiet Riot themselves (or at least some variation thereof). Sure, it's not the original album cut, but this rerecorded version which also appears on one of their greatest hits compilations isn't horrible either.
The rest of the stuff, on the other hand...
Oh, great. "Sexy Boy" as performed by the world's seventh best Bowling For Soup tribute band.

Reminds me of the one from the 90's with a picture of a generic Goldberg/Austin looking cartoon on the cover. The case was weird, it was one of those snap shut tab ones which were rare for CDs (they were similar to the early DVDs you can still find at Big Lot's like the Blade Runner Director's Cut) I had bought that one for the nWo cover. All of the tracks were awful, but I just wanted the nWo theme in the worst way and the CD was cheap enough. I ended up giving it to my bro. I got that same CD. I listened to it once and threw it in the trash. Same here. What was it called, "Slammin' Wrestling Jams"?

This is the worst cover of all time although, I reckon I could sing Metalingus better than the people in the original link.

I wouldn't. I own and PAID FOR 'World of Wrestling Rocks'. I have learned from my mistakes.

I had that piece of crap CD too -- it was called Slammin Wrestling Hits. I also bought it because at the time, it was the only CD with the NWO theme song (this was long before themes were easily found/purchased online). If I recall, this CD also had the themes of "The Edge" and "Val Venus". (Amazon has a track listing and they corrected the mispellings, but I am almost positive they were spelled wrong on the actual CD.) I will admit that the Val Venis knockoff theme was so cheesy, it actually sounded more like a real porno song. The WWE version was actually very well produced.
