Absolutely not, stagnation is the last thing I want for X. They were starting to do some interesting things with X8 and if they do they need to get Inufane or else it's pointless. Ugh, and the box art is still terrible. That is not a good thing. Isn't that the point? To lampoon the terrible early box arts? Still makes it terrible. Don't give a damn if it's supposed to lampoon or not.

Why is everyone concerned about the "box art" for a game that will not be sold in a box?

Why is everyone concerned about the "box art" for a game that will not be sold in a box? Because they sell prints and I like buying Prints and the MEgaman prints are terrible due to the box art being terrible.

I like it more than the photo perfect box art games use now, the old art styles were more extravagant because the games left more to the imagination graphically. But to each his own.

It gives it the charm of a classic NES game. Back when box arts really looked intersting, not drab, and boring like ones today.

Boxart back in the day was usually horribly drawn and had nothing to do with the game 7/10. Give me the new stuff I would actually like to see on my wall over that crap.

I like the old stuff because it felt like promotional material, and not just something grabbed from in game.
I want a 3-D Mega Man using the Ratchet and Clank engine.

Really shows the desperation for Robot master ideas at this point.

I actually like Commando Man.
And I don't blame them for scraping the bottom of the barrel...this is the 10th game and they've had a LOT of robot masters.
Just sayin'.

But why does it look like a over-the-top fanartist did it? What was wrong with this?
