Anyone remember the show Bucky O'Hare? My kids were given some action figures to play with and no one knew who they were but me, and they happened to be characters from the old cartoon Captain Bucky O'Hare. I had completely forgotten about this show but I thought it was kinda cool....... Anyone wanna discuss? Does anyone else really remember this show but me?

I remember the arcade game. It kicked all sorts of ass. And I vaguely remember watching a few episodes of the cartoon, and they were equally awesome.

Bucky!
Captain Bucky O'Hare!
Yeah, I remember this... kinda. I remember parts of the theme song, and the little robot guy with a big eye was one of my favorite toys as a wee lad.

I've never seen the cartoon, but I do remember the character from the awesome side-scrolling shooter that Konami released.
Definitely one of their best non-TMNT arcade efforts along with The Simpsons.

My girlfriend is convinced she dreamed up this show, because NO ONE over here, other than her, has heard of it. She might actually dryhump you for making a thread of it.
It looks vaguely familiar. Is this the show with Captain Dogstar, or something? If not, anyone know what that was?
EDIT: I looked it up, and it bloody is, n'all! Commander Dogstar! When my girlfriend gets home and I tell her I remember the show, I'm SO getting laid!

the video game for NES was awesome, kinda like Mega Man. last winter me and my friend had a marathon gaming session of that one.
I still have my Bucky O'Hare and Deadeye Duck action figures.

Didn't this show end on a cliffhanger? I remember them going into the toad mothership, and not seeing another new episode afterwards.

Yeah, my nephews have a Bucky O'Hare in their toy collection thanks to Goodwill's big bags of Turtles and stuff they thought were turtles.
I got them a VHS tape this past summer for .47 at a Goodwill and they enjoyed it.
I was never a big fan of it, personally, though.

Every now and then the lyrics "Mutants! And Aliens! and Toads Beware!" finds its way into my brain.

I don't really remember it, but this guy I grew up with Jesse remembers when we were kids, we mooned our mothers and yelled Bucky O'hare.
So, I guess I knew of it once, but can't say I remember it all, until this thread, and Jesse's story that may or may not be true.

Well he certainly "Goes where no ordinary rabbit would dare"
Also on a side note, I have been getting my daughter and step sons into all of the old cartoons I used to watch when I was a kid. He-Man is by far their favorite, but the three year old saw Throwback's sig and said it looked like Lion-O. I have never been more proud.

I remember the comic book... written by Larry (GI Joe) Hama and drawn by the awesome Michael Golden. Never watched the show. BUT does anyone remember the OTHER green rabbit in space?

I had Bucky O'Hare shoes when I was little, but I've never seen the show in my life. I don't think I had whatever channel it was on.

Weird, that show just popped into my head the other day. I remember it well but it wasn't wildly popular (at least not where I come from) so I can understand of there are those who haven't heard of it.

Every now and then the lyrics "Mutants! And Aliens! and Toads Beware!" finds its way into my brain. Same here. I only remember it because I had a friend in church when I was like 7 who was named Bucky. Weird connection that has stuck since then.
