So for the first half of the episode I had no idea what the hell was going on, but fortunately it all came together in the end. It'll definitely require a rewatch so that I can understand everything from the beginning.

Yeah, it took me a while to figure out that Brock's story was going forwards and The Ventures' story was in reverse.

Ah *sigh* the first episode of a new season. That's the great thing about Venture Brothers: not just in it for the audience's laughs in mindless batches, it's actually brilliant storytelling that makes the audience EARN their OWN laughs and appeciation. Thanks Jackson Publick. Why doesn't this show get Emmy nods the way some others do without much substance?
