As much as I hate the Chargers, they've really come into their own this season. These last two years were just ladden with undisciplined coaching and sloppy play, yet annoyingly they trudged on into the postseason just by their amount of talent. Last year they fielded one of the worst defenses of the season and Phillip Rivers showed what kind of a jackass he is with all that yacking. Not that the latter has changed, but overall this team just looks very different in the way they execute on the field and the improvement in game-planning than they have before. They've accepted that Tomlinson is no longer the focus in favor of Rivers and they've flourished due to it. Their defense isn't great but it is solid enough to make the stops when they matter. They're as dangerous as any team in the league and I wouldn't be surprised if they beat another team in the postseason if they don't draw the Colts.

Some final thoughts on the Green Bay today, here's a stat...
'The Packers moved to 9-0 when Rodgers is sacked five times or fewer.'
Hmm, may be when our quarterback isn't eating turf then we're actually, y'know, good?

It is the most infuriating thing in the world to be a Bengals fan. Their performance today just says "we'll make the playoffs so you'll still buy tickets, but we'll be out in the first round." I know the passing game has suffered due to the lack of Chris Henry as the other deep threat. But dammit, when you get in the double digits for penalties, you better be playing the Browns if you want to win. I predict another loss next week, followed by the division clinching win against KC, followed by another loss against the Jets. First round, whatever wild card team they play will win. See you next year.

The penalties really did take a double-barrel shotgun to the feet of the Bengals today.

Unfortunately, (for me), I think the Colts are the team they'd be most happy to play.

Yeah Colts fans definitely don't want to see San Diego at all if they can help it. They really have their number, especially in terms of being able to score.
Also, I really hope that they don't sit Peyton, at least this week. I know they probably will only play him one series and thereby screw my fantasy team out of a shot at the title, but I just hope they give him time to play.
