I have not seen Fight Club, nor will I ever see Fight Club. It seems like it's built entirely around this one quote: "The first rule about Fight Club is you never talk about Fight Club." That's all I ever hear fans say about the movie...just quoting that same dumbass line over and over again. It's like if someone asked me: "Hey, I've never seen Star Wars, what's the movie like?" and my answer was ALWAYS: "You don't know the power of the dark side."
Whatever character said the Fight Club line has got to be a drooling idiot. I don't know...I mean...the very second you say "fight club" you are instantly talking about it. It's so stupid and asinine I can't even put it to words! I want to assume it's a stupid joke line...but it's not really even funny.

It's interesting that people are saying Fight Club and Scarface due to some fans of the films.
It's often those fans that completely miss the point of the movie, the lives the characters lead in those movies weren't meant to be aspirational.

Also, I won't watch either Lord of the Rings sequel (Two Towers and Return of the King), because I found the first to be unbearably boring.

The New Star Trek, I don't care how good the effects are n stuff, th fact that they alter and dick about with the characters and all that history, to me its as much Star Trek as the US Godzilla movie is the Godzilla franchise, in other words its STINA (Star Trek In Name Alone )
Amiele (or whatever its called..the french film ) mainly beause evertime you'dsee a review it would say "A sweet bon-bon of a movie that always delights" 1) just no... 2) the dirctor doe Alien Ressurection
Brokeback mountain, I can barely stand Romance movies when its a man and a woman..so one with 2 guys ain't gonna get my vote

Any Tom Cruise movie after The last Samurai.
When he went on his tirade on Oprah, called Psychology a Nazi science, and went essentially bat-shit insane, I didn't want to give him any more of my time or money.
And I almost rescinded on my boycott with the War of the Worlds, but I held out. I prefer the older version anyway.

I refuse to watch any movie with Leo DiCaprio in it unless his character dies. Right around Titanic coming out, he was a total dick, so that's when I decided to make that a rule. Broke it for Catch Me If You Can, but at least his character almost died, and I got some for watching it.

I haven't watched Scarface, because every wannabe thug or aspiring rapper that I know or knew swears by that movie like it's the greatest movie ever. Like it's their life story or something... I finally did watch it, and it left me feeling kinda "meh". Violent Cuban nutjob immigrant becomes a drug lord, then gets snuffed out by the cartel he made rich. Overacting all around. It was an okay film, but people get the wrong message from it. They see it as a success story, I see it as a cautionary tale.

I've never seen any of the Lord of The Rings movies all the way through.
I got about 30 minutes into the first one, and that was enough for me.

Sadly I don't have some big reason for watching most movies....I'm just disinterested in about 75-80% of what's churned out anymore, and the rare film I WANT to see is usually only in theaters for a few weeks or not in my area (Big Film, but not "Mainstream") I only Hope "Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus" is within driving distance when it comes out. So yeah after filtering the crap, then the stuff that's ACTUALLY playing, then running it past my wife and setting aside time, I'm left with only 2 options, 1 movie every few months or wait until the DVD release 3 months down the road.

I definitely agree with being put off by Tom Cruise. Not going to go in to detail but if I can't respect the guy's personal life 'choices' shall we say that no way in heck am I going to benefit his culture by giving him money.
Such a shame as well because back in the day I loved his movies for the most part.

Godfather movies: I hadn't watched the Godfather (the first one) until last month. After watching it I can say it was enjoyable - but WAY TOO LONG! I don't care how loved that movie is - if you cut out all the gratuitous establishing shots that movie would be an hour long. Two minutes for an establishing driving shot!!?! And how long was that establishing shot with Dinero at the opera house? Gimme a break. / Rant.
LotR - Too long and I'm not a fan of the fantasy-elves-hobbits-wizards genre like that.

I will be the guy to say ONE good thing about Shyamalan's "The Happening": It provided me with a perfect clip for my epic Ultimate Warrior Remix.
I've never seen all 3 "Godfather" movies. I saw the first one, but never finished the trilogy. Why? No idea. I can honestly not think of a reason.

Godfather III - because I love the first two and have heard terrible things about the 3rd (The Simpsons make it sound like the Marine!)
I also haven't seen Braveheart yet because I've seen the speech, and know how it ends.
