World Champion Diamond Dallas Page & David Arquette team up to battle The Chosen One Jeff Jarrett & Eric Bischoff in a tag team match for the WCW World Title with DDP's soon-to-be-ex-wife Kimberly as the ref.
Very poor quality video.

I will always find Arquette's theme hilarious because, well, most other people that were still watching WCW at that time, and after he won the title, most people wouldn't "take it anymore".
That, and Bischoff's expression at the end.

Dee Snider is rolling over in his grave right now... ...Wait, he's still alive isn't he?

This is the most famous wrestling-related thing to ever happen in Syracuse, NY outside of the inaugural In Your House PPV.

The ending to that match made no sense... why did that ref go to count Arquette's pinfall?

Of course it's a poor quality video, everything about that angle was poor quality. Well, except for Arquette giving all the money to families of deceased wrestlers.

So it was a tag team match, but the belt could go to whomever made a 3-count?

This is the most famous wrestling-related thing to ever happen in Syracuse, NY outside of the inaugural In Your House PPV. Ya, there's not really many other contenders, but you also have: 1. X-Pac's return to the WWF after Wrestlemania (I believe this also ended WCW's ratings win streak) 2. Shawn Michaels getting beat up by Marines 4. That steel cage match right before Wrestlemania 13 that involved Hart/Austin/Taker/Sid - afterwards Hart flips out, shoves Vince to the ground, and uses some naughty language in a promo. Most memorable for me though, was indeed Arquette winning the gold. I was in the second row....Afterards we saw Arquette outside standing on his car with the belt. He was definitely into it.

Shawn Michaels getting beat up by Marines I don't remember this, but I think it should be a recurring thing. HBK, despite his best efforts, is prone to being beaten up by Marines every now and again. He doesn't antagonize them or anything, it just sort of happens. Work it into the show.

Though its noted that he did kinda ask for that beating. They said that he flirted with one of the Marines girlfriends and that prompted the beating. They cornered him in the parking lot and just beat the tar out of him. Michaels was too drunk to fight back. The 1-2-3 Kid (Who despite being drunk himself did get some shots in before the numbers overcame him) And The British Bulldog. (Who according to Bret was too pilled/drunk to fight back) Tried to help Shawn, but were held back by the other Marines

He was definitely into it. ...Despite the fact that Arquette himself thought it was a s*** idea. You know, we really should credit him nicely, donating his money to the families of deceased wrestlers, and as mentioned before, he knew the idea was bad.

I had quit watching WCW full time right around Sting's heel turn in the fall 99.
Here I said "thank and good night" and wished the company never existed or I never even started watching them in 96.

Quick correction: I'm a lifelong Upstater, X-Pac's return after Mania was in Albany. They were in Cuse the next night to tape the next weeks Raw. Since we're talking Upstate, little Albany has had many a great WWF moment. Fun Fact: I've actually been to the bar where Michaels got beat up. To tell the truth, looking at the regulars, I'm not surprised that he did.
