many have said that the 2000's sucked because nothing was added to pop culture. How do you think the 10's will be? will pop culture be new and innovative, will we have even more technology?

Nothing was added to pop culture!? What about "The Dark Knight," "There Will Be Blood," Lost, The Wire, Battlestar Galactica, iPod, YouTube, FaceBook, Twitter, pretty much all the Pixar movies that were released this decade, The Office (UK and US), etc.? To say that nothing was added to pop culture simply because you didn't like it doesn't mean it's true! And, to say so is just plain stupid. (By they way, that last part wasn't directed at the OP. Just a general rant to the many people who have stupidly said so.)

Google will take over the internet and social networking sites and the video game industry by the end of the 10's. If not then I'll eat my hat.

agree with Callahan, no matter if a person likes it or not it cannot be denied that Pop Culture has changed, as it always has and will continue to do whether for better or worse. I would say look back ten years ago to see the changes but even as near as 2003/2004 there have been many significant changes to technology and pop culture. Of course some things have stayed the same but I think if you got placed back into 1999 with your memories of life in 2009 intact you’d have a shock at the technology, movies and pop culture that did not exist yet. Whether you’d be happier in 1999…well that’s another subject entirely.
