So I know I'm probably a bit late, since Season Three just recently ended , (and to be fair, I missed all of Season One; started with Season Two on DVD) but this is seriously one of the best TV shows I have ever seen.
It's so well-written, the characters are complex, and Dexter, for all his flaws (cough*BayHarborButcher*cough) is trying so hard to be a good/"normal" person, you have to feel for the guy.
So who else loves this show? Am I the only one that literally cheered when he snuck up on Lila - in ITALY, no less! - and cheered again when he finally saw through Miguel?
OK, I'll stop. Someone else sing the praises of this awesome show!
EDIT: Found this, thought it was cool: EDIT2: Nevermind. Photobucket sucks.

I thought this was going to be about Dexter's Laboratory.

My favorite show on television. Even though I've felt that each season has shown a bit of a decline from the previous, the episodes are still of an extremely high quality.
Already watched the Season 4 premiere (which officially airs on Sunday), and without spoiling anything, I'll just say that John Lithgow is going to be a terrific addition to the cast.

I've already seen the first episode of Season 4 and it's easily better than the S2 and S3 premieres. I can't wait.
That being said, man, I am so tired of Deb's crap. Pouty face, swears, leaves Dex's office, comes back, hugs him, sleeps with some dude, swears. Halfway through S2 I started to really hate her character.

I thought this was going to be about Dexter's Laboratory. Me too. What a disapointment Anyway, haven't seen Dexter's third season yet. Is it good?

The first 2/3s are rather slow, but once the last couple episodes kick in, it's great. The season though on the whole is the weakest one of the series, in my estimation.

I would hate her but her actress has grown on me, and just seems to get more attractive. That being said, the fact her and Michael C. Hall are married just adds a hilarious subtext to her interactions with Dexter.

Halfway through S2 I started to really hate her character. The thing is, her character in the series of books is even more annoying and one dimensional. And this is minus the "Jennifer Carpenter is hot" factor that somewhat softens the blow. Recently, I started a Legacy on Fight Night Round 4. The Character's name is Dexter "The Butcher" Morgan. Strangely enough, Miami is not a hometown option for your character, so I just dress him in Miami Hurricane colors to compensate. He's 24-0 with 23 KOs, by the way.

...anyone else do the "stretch t-shirt over face" thing in the morning if you're wearing a white shirt, like in the opening?

So who else loves this show? Am I the only one that literally cheered when he snuck up on Lila - in ITALY, no less! Funny that the Eiffel Tower was in Italy. But seriously, Dexter is a great show. I'd seen the ads for it and thought it looked interesting but never made the time for it. Then in June, my friend basically forced the 1st season DVD. Watched the first episode and was hooked. Ended up watching all the rest of them in 2 days. Week later, I bought Season 2. And caught up on Season 3 over the summer. Definitely one of my favourite shows at the moment.

No, but I do occasionally cook ham steaks in honor of the opening sequence. Great 1st episode. John Lithgow is creepy as hell! ...anyone else do the "stretch t-shirt over face" thing in the morning if you're wearing a white shirt, like in the opening?

Even though it was far-fetched, I really liked the last season as Jimmy Smits played his character so well. He was so ingratiating to Dexter that it seemed unbelievable, and it turned out too good to be true. Not hard to figure out, but Smits did a great job nonetheless

Yeah, this season they started with exactly what I thought was missing since the first season - that is, a character so f***ed up that you were scared about how Dexter was going to deal with him. That's what I loved about Ice Truck and I think I'm going to dig it with this one.

I've been meaning to watch the show since it came on since I loved Michael C. Hall on Six Feet Under (That show in its self was fantastic). I finally picked up season 1 and I love it. Can't wait to watch the other ones.
And am I the only one who likes Deb?
