I've been meaning to watch the show since it came on since I loved Michael C. Hall on Six Feet Under (That show in its self was fantastic). I finally picked up season 1 and I love it. Can't wait to watch the other ones. And am I the only one who likes Deb? I like her for the most part, and not just because she's attractive Me too, even if she's annoying as f*** sometimes. I just got into the series myself last week. Sgt.Doakes just wouldn't leave Dex alone and that would prove to be costly in the end.

Love this show, but as i stay in the UK it will probably be another 9 years or so before we get the 4th season, still i know it will be worth the wait the slow build last season was magnificent.

And am I the only one who likes Deb? I like her, but then, I started with the Second season, haven't seen the first or third seasons yet (something soon to be rectified), and I've heard that her character improved over the second season, so I do not have total perspective on her.

Big fan
Watched it since beginning
Debs character hasn't really annoyed me ever. Jimmy Smits last year was awesome
And I think John Lithgows bare ass might be the scariest thing on the show yet

And I think John Lithgows bare ass might be the scariest thing on the show yet QFMFT I like the whole "Doting Daddy Dexter" angle their going with in just the first episode, hope that continues for a reasonable amount of time. Angel and Laguerta is kinda strange IMO.

Just saw the first episode of Season 4 and yes John Lithgow is creepy as f*** in this role as the "Trinity Killer".
I loved Jimmy Smits in the previous season also. I loved the scene where he and Dex are going shopping for "tools" before they go after one of the suspects.
It was weird at first seeing David Zayas as a good guy as I remember his role in OZ as Morales. Same thing for Doakes in the earlier seasons.
Deb's hot, don't get me wrong but the whole "tough girl" act never really was something I was a fan of. To each his own I guess.
Great show.

I have to join the contingent who are turned off by Deb's vocabulary. When the word "f***" comes out of her mouth every 3 seconds in every situation, it's just a massive turn-off.
I mean, I've seen her dolled up and she's not bad looking, but something about the character just makes her seem a little tomboy'ish for all of these men to be attaching themselves to her.

You know, it seemed minor, but the drop of blood on the wedding dress at the end of Season 3...I keep thinking that's going to play a part for some reason.

Yeah, although it'd be hilarious if the series ends when they match the blood on Rita's wedding dress and give Dexter a lethal injection.

So that was a crazy ending. This is shaping up to be the best season yet.

I'm up to season 4 now, so I'm keeping up with everyone. Is it just me or is Rita INCREDIBLY annoying this season?

Her character has changed a lot over the seasons, and I can't say I'm a huge fan of her now. She comes off too bossy and not so understanding at times, as opposed to earlier seasons. A great cliffhanger ending, I can't wait for next week. Season 3 started off slower compared to the other 2 seasons, but season 4 is definitely shaping up to be interesting from the start.

I'm thinking that wasn't Trinity that shot them. Seemed like a random mugging since the shooter stole Lundy's wallet. Could be wrong, of course.

It may have been Trinity disguising it as a mugging or random shooting to perhaps trick authorities. The only other two suspects are Anton (jealousy) or the vacation killers (the shootings did occur outside of a hotel). Either way, Dexter will probably use this as a reason to get more involved in the Trinity case, which will carry the rest of the season. I just loved everything about that episode. The way Dexter went about proving that Zoey killed her family was just classic Dexter, something we haven't seen much of as of late. The parallels between her life and his was very interesting and help set up Dexter realizing that he loves his family too much to ever do anything to them (the emotion he showed was terrific).

That's my second idea, is that Trinity is using this as a throw-off from his pattern.
The Dexter/Zoe stuff was claaaaaaaaaassic. I died out laughing when Dexter said "What is with you and rape, no one's getting raped here!". The delivery was perfect.
