Right around the time Trinity and his family exploded I was going "Good god this is a really good episode" then at the end I just lost it and was going "Ho.....Ho.......How....Awa?"
This show is so awesome, it is un-f*****g-believeable

Arthur telling his wife to "Shut up, c***" was just incredible. I loathe the word, but it got a huge "Oh shit!" out of me. The whole Thanksgiving scene was just epic in every way. Perfectly done, well-written. John Lithgow needs to win an Emmy for his performance.

I'm surprised that the filters didn't catch the C word!

It's officially the worst part of the week: The most amount of time we have to wait until more Dexter So the teaser at the end of the episode says that the biggest twist has yet to even come. Honestly, I have no clue what's going to happen, but that preview was so juicy. I don't think I've ever been so excited about the end of a season for any show. Another great episode, as good as last week's.

I have my own theories, fueled by talk on the IMDB board and Facebook threads about Dexter. If they're right, folks are going to be downright shocked if they don't see it coming.

{Spoiler} There is talk that Rita is going to die in a car accident at some point in the episode, due in part to the fact that IMDB lists some sort of angry driver in the credits for Episode 12. The individual that posted the spoilers got it right about Cody having a fight, so we'll see. The other talk is that Trinity kills Cody. Either way, this season has been amazing so far.

{Spoiler}I remember Jennifer Carpenter did an interview last month saying that the number of trailers on the set was going to drop. Basically implying that someone important would be leaving the show. I can see the Cody death happening, maybe Trinity trying to finish what he started with the boy from tonight's episode (and to hurt Dexter, as well). Rita's death seems too random to me, though. I know some people would be happy about this (there seems to be a lot of dislike towards the character as of late), but I'm not one of them. Perhaps the worst thing is that this is shaping up to end on a cliffhanger. I'm not sure I could handle a cliffhanger episode for this show. Going 9 months waiting to find out what happens next would be a daunting task.

{Spoiler} I think the trailer may be either Laguerta or Batista, as well. I'm still concerned they'll kill off Rita. She's been a bitch this season and such, but they shared a nice moment tonight. I sort of feel bad if that's where its going.

Ha, after catching up with Dexter last week (I've missed the past 4 weeks), I actually suggested this to a friend of mine. It'd be a nice change of pace for a show in which every season is self-contained.

That said, I still don't think I could handle 9 months of suspense. It would be far too grueling. @ oneDARKflame: As for the Rita hate, I think the way she acts is at least somewhat justified. They're married now, they have a family, a newborn that needs constant care. Dexter can be unreliable at times, gets caught in lies, and Rita believes he's a recovering heroin addict. It doesn't surprise me that she acts the way she does sometimes.

It's gotta be headed somewhere, perhaps what I suggested in the spoiler tag.

{Spoiler}If she does get killed, that would be quite the mess for next season. He's barely getting by with Rita doing the majority of the work with the kids. There's no way he could handle a load like that.

{Spoiler} It may make sense and would probably be the season of Dexter's undoing and the final season of the show. I don't want Dexter to be caught, but who knows.
As for the possbile death, the more I think about it, I think I'd be genuinely upset if he lost Rita. He's realizing more and more what she means to him, and I've always had an affection for the character since they introduced her all the way back in S1. She's his rock, whether he realizes it or not.

Oh my god. The next two weeks of Dexter may be the best television I will ever watch. {Spoiler}Hello, Dexter Morgan.
I FREAKED at this in the preview.

An hour from now, I predict that I'll be in a complete state of shock, unable to mutter any words other than "Holy s***!".
EDIT: Eh, nothing really shocking, but I loved the buildup to Arthur figuring out Dexter's true identity. He outsmarted him, set him up perfectly by going to the arcade, and Dexter took the bait.
Such a shame that there's only one episode left.

{Spoiler}After seeing the interaction between Dexter and Rita this week, I can totally see that comment last week about Rita dying in a car accident coming to fruition. I think shes gone next week. Doesn't help that the episode is called "The Getaway", so I'm expecting some sort of chase scene with Trinity and she bites it.
HOLY POO. DID ANYONE WATCH THE TWO TEASERS?!? Deb finds out Laura Moser had two children, and that she is Dex's biological mother. I wonder if she'll find out that Rudy/Ice Truck Killer is Dex's brother.
