I haven't watched MTV in years but I turned on to watch this. My god what a great show. Maybe it's because I've never been to Jersey but it amazed me that people like this actually exist. My favorite character is The Situation by far. Just how cocky he is and how he keeps getting played a fool yet not even paying attention to it. Anyone else watch this?

This and real Housewives of NJ make me want to vomit with rage with how bad it makes NJ look. I doubt most are from NJ

Yeah 3 are from New York, 1 from Rhode Island and another one is actually from Jersey and she is the one that is the most sane.

I would just like to say that I've been going to the Jersey shore (on average 1-2 days a year) since I was a baby and have never seen anyone there like this. I haven't seen the show, just a preview for it. A friend of mine told me it was filmed in Seaside Heights (that's where I always go) and so I had to check that out at least.

and to be fair not everyone in new orleans act like the people on true blood.
Plus aren't the stereotypes more akin to staten island than jersey?

In my experience, people from Jersey are either incredibly stupid (worst drivers I've ever seen) or incredibly attractive (as in some of the women in my classes).

I didn't see the whole thing but man what a collection of douchebags! That dude "The Situation" looks like he has spent thousands of hours working out, but not a single minute of it was spent on his neck. He's ripped and big except he has a total pencil neck. These people are really sickening and yeah it is hard to believe they exist. Whoever said it was so bad it's good is definitely right. I hate to admit it, but I'll be checking this show out again.
My question: Are we going to be treated to a Real World vs Road Rules vs Jersey Shore Challenge?

Okay, tonight I was bored (and Merry Christmas, by the way) and there was a mini marathon of this show going on. I had heard how bad it was supposed to be, so I watched it in morbid curiousity and wow ...
I've hung out with some douchebags in my drunken day, but I don't think I would ever hang around any of these Jersey Shoreites ... I found myself amused by some of the drama at times, but it was a bit much.

As someone who is from New Jersey and have gone to the shore...I feel incredibly embarassed about this show. I've grown up with assholes like The Situation...and I usually see them drunk off their asses still when they should be getting a degree or a job. I'm glad I'm going to be moving to Illinois within the next couple of months so that I can sort of get away from the sad odor of New Jersey...and then I can truly enjoy this show.

Like I need another reason to avoid Jersey. Apparently the toxic waste dumps and the tolls every 10 feet weren't enough.

Did you like seeing her take a FALCON PAWWNCH?
Seriously, I love watching The Soup, and this show is like non-stop cannon fodder for it.
