Alright, before you answer this question to those that played it, take the equation of every hackneyed glitch/exploit/etc. that has happened in Modern Warfare 2. This obviously isn't about that and I don't want to get into that debate. This is about what the most fun is.
So what do you think is better? Why these two games? Well, they're two of the biggest games of the year. One, took an already established multiplayer and improved on it, while another is brand new to the game.
So which is better? You decide.

Mechwarrior 2! YEEEEEEAH!!! WOOOO!!!!
.....that said, I enjoyed playing Modern Warfare 2 at my friend's Xbox party, but didn't get to try Uncharted 2 since there was only two PS3s hooked up at the time.

This is very hard question, seeing as I've got both games, and becoming very high levels on both.
Taking the glitches to consideration I'd would have to make this a tie. Uncharted's multiplayer was fun at first, but after amounts of play it seems 'basic' compared to the MW2 experience (take note of the weapons, perks, maps and modes). On the other hand, MW2 started as a broken game, and even when fixing it, it made it even worse. In the end, it seems like it's still a tie, but over the 2010 period it'll come down to who will be working the hardest to keep the community happy

What has Infinity Ward given us? An online feature that clearly hasn't been given the thorough beta testing it needed, and patches and updates to fix exploits in the game that took their sweet ass time to come out. So right now, Uncharted 2 is trouncing MW2 in terms of keeping the fans happy.

If you ask me, you pretty much buy Modern Warfare 2 for the multiplayer. If you buy it for the single-player stuff it's a little lacking in that area (campaign is short, and many of the spec. ops levels are considered much too difficult to do alone), whereas Uncharted 2 is earning props as "the best game this gen" and is rewriting how single-player is done.
So yeah I will say MW2 (and to be fair I will admit I have yet to play Uncharted 2), but as a full package I think Uncharted 2's single-player makes up for the multiplayer better than MW2's multiplayer makes up for the single-player.

The main focus of MW2 is the mp. The main focus of Uncharted 2 is the single player. So the comparison is maybe a little unfair. Having said that, Uncharted 2 is very often the epitome of fun when it comes to online gaming. Does not take itself too seriously and does not suffer from the glitchers or nuke boosters that plague MW2.
Also, the glitches etc must be taken into consideration when judging MW2's mp. It is simply part of the game and you can't say, 'without the glitches it's amazing' when the game has the glitches.
Considering that MW2 has had the biggest launch of a game (a real game that is, none of this Wii Fit crap) in years, it has been an absolute disgrace how pooly tested it was. That CoD4 still has players getting out of the maps to this day does not bode well for those hoping that IW will provide continual support to combat the glitchers.

None of them. Wii Sports Resort is where it's at.
