Well we're just a couple of weeks away from finishing up the decade (Don't even THINK about starting the "Hurr, it ends next year" argument!) so I thought I'd start a thread to take a look back at the artists of the '00's who touched our hearts. ...then were never heard from again!
So, to kick things off, one of the all time "great" one-hit wonders, from all the way back in the year 2000...

That would probably be my #1 choice.
Also, I nominate Sisqo's 'Thong Song'

While I wouldn't say I'm a huge country fan by any means, first example to come to mind for me is Gretchen Wilson. "Redneck Woman" was awesome, and then after that she just more or less vanished.

After this Daniel Powter dropped off the face of the earth practically.

Tantric: Breakdown (ok, Astounded was also a hit, but whens the last time you heard a tantric song that wasnt either of those on the radio?) "Down & Out" off of their album last year reached #8 on the Billboard Rock charts. I still hear it all the time on the radio around here. I actually don't think I've ever heard the "Astounded" song. The only songs I've ever heard from them on the radio are "Breakdown","Mourning",and "Down & Out". I'm also by no means a fan of the band at all.

"Down and Out" is also the batting entrance to Evan Longoria of the Tampa Bay Rays. So I wouldn't call them one-hit wonders.

Crazy Town: Butterfly (and thank goodness that was their only hit).

Not sure if it was a one hit wonders but who sang the song "Liquid dreams"?
Edit: Another one that just popped out is Eden's Crush although one of them is famous today.
Also No Secrets.

Not sure if it was a one hit wonders but who sang the song "Liquid dreams"? A) That was O-Town. B) They're not one-hit wonders; they're two-hit wonders. Liquid Dreams and All or Nothing were their two Top 10 hits.

Did T.A.T.U. have any other hits, aside from "All the Things She Said"?

Did T.A.T.U. have any other hits, aside from "All the Things She Said"? They had another one that did decently over in Australia. Don't ask that I know. It's not like I thought that they were hot lesbians or anything. *Shifty eyes*
