Ah, Dream, the girl group put together by P. Diddy after a massive auditioning process, that was in turn supposed to take the pop music world by storm. How'd that work out for ya, Sean?

Spiller - Groovejet.
Although to be fair, the singer on this record - Sophie Ellis-Bextor - did go on to have a pretty decent solo career over here, but I haven't heard from Spiller since.
Also, whoever said Bowling For Soup were a one hit wonder, wasn't "Girl All The Bad Guys Want" a big hit as well?

Hoobastank isn't a one-hit wonder I was about to say that myself. Hoobastank isn't close to being a one hit wonder. Just going by the US Main Charts (and if you go by the US Alt charts they do even better) they have 3 top 10 hits, Another 4 top 25 hits, and 3 songs that just missed the top 25 by two or three spots.

Pretty sure "Pain" did decently. And "The Sweetness". Not sure I'd consider them one hit wonders, but you may be right. I haven't kept much track of their chart success. I just know they're amazing.

Yeah, Jimmy Eat World is no one hit wonder.
Sweetness and then Pain took care of that.
Big Casino might have too, not sure.

I remember listening to Fountains of Wayne pretty steadily one summer years before "Stacy's Mom" came out and wondering why they weren't more successful.
How did Seven Mary Three do in the end?

Two novelty hits and one pretty good (if unmanly) song.

Not even close. They had a hit before that with "Girl All the Bad Guys Want" and a hit after this song with "Almost". Once again, no. "Ordinary Day" was also a hit. I see your unintentionally hilarious Vanessa Carlton with: Fun fact: she once described herself as a pervert ;D She also had hits with "All You Wanted", "Goodbye to You", "Breathe" and "Are You Happy Now?", and she also had a country hit as a member of The Wreckers.

How'd that work out for ya, Sean? i believe they had the same fate at this marvelous hip-hop group... who may or may not be a "not quite number one hit but people know of them" wonder... www.dailymotion.com/video/x1klki_da-band-tonight_music

It all depends on the definition we use for "One Hit Wonder". The Middle was the only song of theirs to even chart on the Billboard 200, reaching #39. It was also their only song in the top 70 on the Billboard Hot 100 (Sweetness topped out at #75). They did have multiple songs at the top of Billboard's Modern Rock chart, but there's less competition when you look at genre-based charts, and it's easier in general to reach the top of those charts.

I was gonna add Sugar Jones but I doubt there songs were even hits per se.
And I already mentionned Eden's Crush but here is their video. Also look closely at the girls and see if you recognize someone.
