There's no way these guys had another hit, did they? Not being an ass, I honestly don't know anything other than this song. If you define hit as "reaching the top 40", then Adema wouldn't be considered a one hit wonder. According to Wikipedia, they had 4 hits using that definition: "Giving in" (16), "The Way You Like It" (21), "Freaking Out" (25), and "Unstable" (25). The hell they had 4 songs? Wow I know them, Hoobastank and a few other bands all came out during the same time and they were all friends with more successful bands who pushed for their friends/family members' bands to get signed (Korn and Incubus)

I would say Macy Gray has to be the most surprising one-hit wonder of the decade. Yes, she does sound like a female Avery Johnson, but she seemed to have a strong following with "I Try." It's hard to believe that no other song she's released since then has even charted.

I think the interpretation of an one hit wonder is up for debate. For example.... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_2000s_one-hit_wonders_in_the_United_StatesLook at this list and see some of the names on here. Obviously, this could be picked apart mercilessly. But the prerequisite to this list is if you only had one song in the Top 40, which is how one hit wonders used to be determined. Here's the Billboard list which I personally think is pretty good. But once again, it looks like judging by the entries, they also seem to be determining their picks by the Top 40. www.billboard.com/#/features/one-hit-wonders-of-the-2000s-page-1-1004051216.storyAnd I should note that there's a lot of songs posted here already that have been argued over whether or not they're one hit wonders that happen to be on both of the links I posted. Which reaffirms the point that this stuff is subjective. Maybe Ì missed something but since when were P.O.D, SoulDecision and S club 7 one-hit wonders.

Well I think there are two ways to judge "hits". One is their placement on the charts, and one is their certifications. For instance, even if an album never places higher than 50, if it's triple platinum I think we'd all agree it's a hit.
The big problem comes from way number one though. The ceritifcation is what it is, no debate. But for the chart placement do you only consider the Billboard Top 100 or the genre charts or both?
For instance, Incubus is a one-hit wonder if you only go by the Top 100, as they only had one hit inside of the top 40. However, if you count the Billboard Modern Rock charts they had four number 1 songs.
