{Spoiler}Is Steve Rogers back, or not? Because in the New Avengers Annual, he's apparently back to lead The New Avengers, but in Reborn, his body is being controlled by The Red Skull. I'm very confused. Is Cap back and in control of his body yet or not?

Sounds like a shipping issue. Reborn's been pretty damned late.

Ah, that makes sense. In any event, finally glad to see it happen.

I'm kinda wondering the same thing. It took them two years before they resurrected Cap, so I'm wondering if Bucky was getting that much flack as Captain America. Or if they had this planned out all along.

^I couldn't imagine killing Steve frickin' Rodgers would of helped their sales. Apparently Ed Brubaker's run was doing pretty good so I don't really know, may be people just wanted their Cap back.

I actually read the whole storyline of "The Death of Captain America." I thought it was probably the best thing they could've done after the Civil War storyline. I enjoyed it, thoroughly.
Hell, it had to be better than what happened to Spider-Man after the Civil War.

Captain America has consistently been the best superhero book on the racks for years.
hell Steve Rogers is my second favorite character, and the transition to Bucky taking the role was so well done, I wouldn't have minded it being permanent.

I don't think Steve Rogers: Agent Of SHIELD is going to set the comic book world on fire, honestly.

Where's Madison to clear this up?
I miss the days of when we had a question of any kind about MARVEL, Mads would swoop in like a hawk and give us the answer....unless the questions were about a certain.....event in MARVEL that we are now forbidden to talk about.

There is an event we can't talk about? That's pretty stupid. Thats what happens when the guy working for them gets in trouble for comments about the event. And, since you hadn't ever heard Mads bring it up, clearly it isn't that pressing of an issue that it really affects you ;D But more to point...hahaha all those comic board nerds who said I was crazy for repeatedly pointing out Cap wasn't dead since it was a comic book and pointing out multiple explinations for why a bullet to the head doesn't mean $%^&, and shooting down each reason they had for why he HAD to be gone for real 100% dead not coming back! Morons. If Bucky, who was shown dead MULTIPLE times over the decades of Marvel history doesn't qualify as being dead by Ed's standards, then how the Hell is Cap gonna be dead?

There is an event we can't talk about? That's pretty stupid. Basically, the quick run through of it is, the event is One More Day/Brand New Day for Spider-Man. We can no longer talk about it, because every discussion in the past has led to people ripping into and harshly bashing Joe Quesada, who, if you don't remember, is Madison's boss. That's why we can't talk about it. That, and a few other reasons that I won't go into. Already walking dangerously about this subject as is.

What's amusing is that both Captain America and Batman, who died at roughly the same point in time only to have their former teenage sidekicks take over the role, are actually both unstuck in time.

Heh. True. That's very true. What would've been more eerie is if instead of Captain A dieing, it was Tony Stark who bit the bullet. Both publishers would've, even temporarily, killed off their billionaire playboys whose only super power is being super rich at around the same time.

Just wanted to come in and say that the latest issue of Invincible Iron Man features both Bucky and Steve in their respective Capt. America costumes at the same time.

Just wanted to come in and say that the latest issue of Invincible Iron Man features both Bucky and Steve in their respective Capt. America costumes at the same time. I don't follow Iron Man at all, but I may have to pick that one up. Oh, and to posit a question that Clint Barton asked in the aforementioned Annual that started all this, how DOES Norman's hair do that?
