I am proud to be part of the one percent who got the "Hogan drove the Hummer" joke.
That was a great review!

Hey Triple Kelly, I am assuming you are the same one who put all that info about Brutus Beefcake, Sable in the Hummer, and Garrett Morris in the comments section?
Shoot, my memory of the limo is vague, at best, but I laughed hard when he brought it up.
I laughed hard at Spoon-imate Warrior constantly calling Spoony "Jerry Lawler", the Hulk Spoogan outro, and, of course, Sheik-y baby!
Plus, the slapping of the belt while screaming "number one".... Botchamania has pop culture viability, now!

And the Ultimate Spoony Warrior should've known Noah isn't Jerry Lawler cause he didn't have a little girl on his lap while laughing at all of Cole's comments. That ending was awesome if you are/were a wrestling fan. I only got that the 2nd time i watched it cause I'm a dummy, lol.

Does he refer to the storyline from WCW some 9 years ago?

When he very clearly said "Hogan drove the Hummer!" I know that. I meant what was the story behind the joke?

1) In WCW back around 1999, 2000 or so, there was an angle where, I believe, Kevin Nash was run down by a Hummer. They built up speculation over the next week or so as to who was driving it. Then, the week after that...nothing. The whole angle was basically Chuck Cunninghammed. They never told us who drove the damn thing. They teased everyone from Hulk Hogan to Rena Mero to Carmen Electra to the 1989 Denver Broncos.
2) When Spoony first appeared in that video with the crown and cape and all that...am I the only one who expected him to wish us a Happy Winter-een-mas?

So was it a rip off of the Austin angle or just really badly booked? 2: Yes. Spoony is much better than that crapfest of a comic.

God, I forgot how terrible that movie is. And I taped it off of TNT years ago. Man, that was a terrible flashback. Very well done, Spoonyman!

Actually, the Hummer storyline happened a few months before Austin got ran over. So, it was just a really bad angle.
