so I got $100 in gift cards for Barnes and Noble yesterday
I haven't really read a lot of things voluntarily since I graduated college due to being forced to read tons of things I found to be incredibly boring
most of the books in my collection fall into 2 catagores: wrestling/sports books and classic literature

In terms of classic literature, what do you like?

In terms of classic literature, what do you like? usually something where there's a lot going on that has a nice flow to it like Catch-22 and The Great Gatsby I hate stuff where it's metaphysical pondering where nothing happens for literally hundreds of pages at a time like Moby Dick....I hate that white whale

I'm The King of the Castle by Susan Hill. It's classic...teenage? literature, I guess. But I read it on the coach back from Berlin and loved it now more than I did then. It's incredibly underrated, I don't think anyone else I know has read it.

It has a great plot but half the damn book is describing the freaking island.

Hank Scorpio
He has the looks of Andre the Giant, and the strength of Barry Windham. Not to mention he's a hero to a few armadillos, a kangaroo and a small herd of bison.

As far as wrestling books go, a really underrated one is William Regal's. Never hear of many people reading it (several people I've heard weren't even aware he had written one), and it's pretty brutally honest.

I read one once when I was a youngster called The Dracula Tapes by Fred Saberhagen. It was the story of Dracula told from The Count's view, and I remember it being kind of a cool concept.
And I know it's science fiction, but The Stainless Steel Rat series of books always entertained me. James Bolivar "Slippery Jim" DiGriz is the title character, and I found the books to be written with just enough humor to satisfy me.

The Regal book is fantastic. Highly recommended.
One of the highest in my opinion is definitely "Why We Suck" by Dr. Denis Leary.

I'll add another vote for Regal's book and add the blindingly obvious 1984 for the classical choice.
