ok seriously this is like the fourth time I've seen Die Hard listed as a Christmas movie this year... I don't remember anyone ever saying this before... so why all of a sudden is it getting this distinction edit: yes I know it's Die Hard and it's awesome... but still all of a sudden it's everywhere Well, it just happens to take place at Christmas. Hell, there was a Christmas party going on the Nakatomi Building when Gruber and his people took over.

I know it takes place at Christmas but I haven't heard of people calling it a Christmas movie until this year... when everyone seems to have jumped on board

I know it takes place at Christmas but I haven't heard of people calling it a Christmas movie until this year... when everyone seems to have jumped on board Maybe because they're sick of all the same typical "Peace On Earth And Goodwill Towards Man" Christmas movies and need a counterbalance. Luckily for them, there's an action movie that just happens to take place at Christmas for them to watch.

Great to see Blackadder's Christmas Carol on the list.
