In my opinion this was Yoshi's biggest match yet, and Christian looked awesome in it too.

I really liked this match. Both men looked like gold.

And best of all, it had a clean and decisive finish.

And best of all, it had a clean and decisive finish. Which I love about ECW. They have screwy finishes too, but at a rate FAR less than the other two brands. It's like a legit fed.

Ironic that the only brand that conceivably has the word "wrestling" in it has the only real wrestling on it.

And best of all, it had a clean and decisive finish. Just goes to show, it is possible to book clean finishes without making the loser look like crap. Take note, Raw Creative staff. Top quality match, just like any one of Christian's matches you'd care to name, from the past several months.

Ironic that the only brand that conceivably has the word "wrestling" in it has the only real wrestling on it. You can only measure the success of a brand by the level of Goldust-ocity. Seriously guys look at the facts. You wonder why Smackdown is thought of as second-rate? Because Goldust has been in about 2 Smackdown matches in his multiple tenures in WWE. They suffered badly because of it, while RAW in the past decade been more prolific thanks to his golden presence. ECW? Look at it now, it is the budding ground of actual talent and good wrestling matches. Who do you have to thank for that?

That right there is how you build stars.
Imagine how much it would do for say, Swagger, if he were to have a match like that with Cena where he goes toe to toe with him and falls just short?
The main eventer doesn't have to lose, just make the other guy look good while winning which is what Christian did right there.

To be fair, Swagger did have a good competitive match against Cena at the Draft Show this year. But I do agree that putting some over like Christian/Yoshi needs to happen more often.

It was a good example of how a face vs face match should be done. I see it sometimes on the indies where two babyfaces will have a bland match with just moves, and that's it. Christian took on the role as the quasi-heel in the match, but didn't do anything too over the top to become a heel. And in the end, Yoshi looked great.
Christian as well could have a match with anyone and make it good.

I didn't really feel like Christian was really playing the heel so much as trying to get over the story of him being the veteran who wasn't going to let the newcomer he'd been showing around ECW get the better of him just yet. Also, is it just me, or does it seem like Christian is really allowed to do more, show more in his matches than other wrestlers? It really feels like his standard moveset in a given match is twice as large as anyone else's on the roster.

I think it's since Christian is very reliable, and they seem to want him to seem like a big deal. That, and he generally gets a lot of time for his matches compared to others.

It happened already. I am talking about in context of his current push. I know about the Draft Match. which, by the way did NOT have anywhere close to the feel of this match. It was the standard "heel beats on Cena for ten minutes while he kicks out of everything done to him but never once goes for any pins or hits any big moves on the heel, then hits the FU, locks in the STF and makes him tap" scenario we have seen a million times when a midcard heel faces Cena. I am talking about have a real back and forth match. Really, just replace Swagger with anyone on RAW. My point is that things like this never happen on RAW. Yet, they should. Its basic booking.

RAW Creative Team: At least they dress nicely. They have that going for them. Ya but they are hungry. Look on how skinny they are! Poor creative team not allowed to eat anything for hours and are forced to watch Vince and Steph gorging themselves in delicious food.

Great match. Both guys looked great. My only complain is that it could've been a little longer, but it was a spectacular match anyway.
