It was awesomeness. Reminded me of when Kevin Nash commentated Thunder that time. That was fried gold. He commented for about ten minutes on the ridiculousness of La Parka taking off his ring jacket, which had a skeleton design on it, to reveal his wrestling gear, which also had a skeleton design on it.

And that sense of humor is what has kept Nash at the top of the wrestling world for 15 years.

Amusing at first but detrimental to the match and disrespectful to the guys in the ring, eventually. If Hunter can mock "You Can't See Me", Jericho's hair, etc., I would love to see Cena burn Hunter for his incredibly stupid gimmick of spitting water out like a five-year old (no offense to five-year olds- you should not be reading this, anyway).
And while I do not like Michael Cole's work, having him insulted for ten minutes on TV is not a good idea. If they want him behind the desk, fine. But if your top guy is bashing him, then the company is effectively saying "We know this guy sucks, but here he is anyway". How does that make any sense for business?

Cole has mocked HIMSELF several times. Go back and watch Smackdown's tenth anniversary for an example. You are overreacting.

It's DX being rebels. They're not trying to provide in-depth social commentary on Michael Cole. How many times has The Rock done somewhat insulting commentary over a match? Business didn't seem to go down the drain when that happened. Was anybody honestly excited about the match? I don't mind it, sure; and I'll watch it - but DX actually made a paint-by-numbers Raw main event a lot more memorable and did more good than harm.

RVD did that once... just saying, the whole "Triple H insults people but they can never insult him back" thing is overplayed and pretty much not true.

DX is the only thing I lookforward to watch on RAW....I liked the commentary brings back the Attitude Era version...like the insider version of Triple H...and HBK as the goofy sidekick....

Don't forget that DX were the original Cole haters, with all that wedgie and shower fun they had with him in '97.

I love DX on commentary. When they retire I'd love for them to do commentary, same with Nash. The KLIQ on commentary could recreate the awesomeness of Ventura and Heenan.

I am just happy they are making DX entertaining this time rather than making poop jokes. Good call, guys! I wish they had been like this during 2006.
I also love that Hunter pretty much has an IWC gimmick even though the IWC hates him.
If it was any other wrestler doing it, he would be the most popular thing going on here...and that is from an HHH hater. He has been pretty entertaining the past few months, I will give the devil his due when he deserves it.

Yeah so what if Triple H is allowed to rip everyone on the roster every week with insider remarks. Once about 7 years ago RVD did it to him. Nothing has been allowed against Triple H since then but surely thats equal yeah?
