ya know, this may make me an awful person, but i LOVE this kind of stuff. Not sure why, but like the Hornswoggle through the hole thing, its soo over the top that its funny. I know i should be insulted, but in todays current wwe mindset i am ok with it. That kind of scares me.

Guys like him act like they're really cool and that girls are all over them, but in real life, they've never actually touched a girl themselves. Just like all the douches at the club. Another interesting and funny wrinkle in a great gimmick. WWWYKI. |

The fantasy scene was a cool idea, but the actual fantasy was lame. All she did was stare blankly and move her hair around a little bit. It should've been another Hardys/Candice Michelle deal.

When I see this, I like to use this analogy.
ECW is in fact a television show, yes? So, they can do whatever they want, right? If CSI had a magically cartoon fairy pop up while they're trying to solve the crime and aided them in solving it, what would happen to the show?
If on Home Improvement, Tim Taylor went over the fence and killed Wilson, chopped his head off, broke the 4th wall and said, "this is what I want to do to your children", where would the show have went.
I hate stuff like this. They are in front of a live crowd who are paying. They shouldn't have their intelligence insulted by having dream sequences on a video screen. Why not have Tiffany go out there and say everything is fake, and she's not a real general manager? (though with her kayfabe dumb moves like releasing Sheamus without getting anything for him from Raw, I guess that might get a good reaction). Stuff like that annoys me. Couldn't they have made it seem like Zack was fixated on her without doing that dumb sequence?

It was silly, but I like silly from time to time, and I liked this. I've really never minded the whole invisible-camera aspect of WWE, and things like this I still don't mind because at least it had a point (to show Ryder is a doofus who finds Rosa hot) and I found it kinda funny. I hated the Hornswoggle running through a wall because one, it's impossible, and two it was just stupid and not funny. Only thing I didn't like about this was that Ryder was imagining Rosa twirling her hair? Come on, have her go all Candice with the water-bottle and then we're talking. Quoted cause it's hot. |

If wrestling was treated with that much sacrosanct reverance, I wouldn't have liked it in the first place. All I care is that it entertains me. Be it serious or not. One thing I love about the bottle squirt is that it's treated as a throw away gag, and when done right they are my favorite type of humour. WWE's writers usually have the subtlety of a sledgehammer when it comes to comedy and feel the need to put a big neon sign over everything saying "this is funny!" by having people giving these over the top reactions. I love the fact that neither Zack or Rosa draw attention to the gag. By not having them react to it, it makes it much funnier in my opinion. That's comedy 101. Even in GIF form it cracked me up. |

I thought it was awesome, and I've never really seen the harm in dream sequences. Sure they can be terrible, but when they keep some subtlety I'm fine with them.
Now we need to have him talking to a shrink next week complete with the Wrestlecrap Radio Dream Analysis music.
