I'd like to see Bill win it, he deserves it. But who would he feud with after the obligatory Christian rematches? Yoshi Tatsu is probably the second biggest face on the brand. He can feud with Yoshi, Goldust, or Tommy, but here's an idea...what if we just keep the belt on him for a good long while without a title feud running all the time. You know, to build up value and credibility, and make the eventual babyface win that much more exciting and meaningful, especially since when the title does change hands, it'll be taken off that no-good dirty Regal who has held onto the belt for [kayfabe] way too long. I would say Christian's long title run has helped make the belt seem like a valuable treasure because it's been held by a workhorse babyface champion with the heart of a lion. Next, it can be made to seem even more valuable around the waist of an evil bully who refuses to let anyone touch his shiny new title belt while hiding behind his big mean thugs, because the marks will be begging for a babyface to take the strap off him and wipe that smug look off his face. I would personally want to see Regal get the strap off Christian and have a loooong JBL-like run with infrequent title defenses. Bonus points if Regal, after taking the title, gets his hands on some kayfabe GM authority while feuding with Tiffany, and Regal abuses his power to deny title shots.

I think Christian should retain and literally beat everyone in ECW.
He's already beaten Ryder, Yoshi, and Dreamer.
All he has to do is put away Regal.
Then he still has:
- Vance Archer - Shelton Benjamin - Paul Burchill (Rise his stock with a win against Hurricane) - Vladimir Kozlov - Ezekiel Jackson - Goldust
Have him beat everyone, then have a new heel take it off him.

Meh. Just my opinion but I just don't care about him one way or the other. I'm sure he will win, and I'm sure Christian wins it back at Survivor Series.

Should he? Hell no. Will he? Probably.

No, because he is a heel and would get a face reaction from the home country fans. So NO.

It depends on who they want to elevate more, a face (Yoshi) or a heel (Zack). Both are on the cusp of making it big.
Personally, I'd like to see Regal win it. Christian proved he can beat him time and again so it won't hurt him, and it looks like they still don't know what direction they want to go with Ryder. Seems like they keep teasing a face turn.

Abso-f***in-lutely.
Every time I've read live reports of his matches in England, he's been an overwhelming crowd favorite. Do it.
Regal as ECW CHAMP.

Face it guys, Regal is Enhancement talent at this rate.
So if Regal wins, its to build up your Yoshi and so forth down the line.

^I don't doubt it.
But, if it gets Regal screen time, then I'm cool with it. He's too good not to be featured prominently.

Remember when Regal was Raw GM?
That really was a main event push, finally after all those years. A WWE title program with Cena or Trips, whatever...and you all know he's a terrific prick heel.
Then he fails the steroids test and nevermind.
Honestly, can't wait for Bryan Danielson to get called up.

Isn't it about time for Christian to move up to Smackdown?

Isn't it about time for Christian to move up to RAW? Fixed so that I can still watch him. (No MNTV, and Hulu runs like shit)

since Koslov and Zeke are banned from ringside I'm hoping that Regal wins with Burchill interference (after Burchill destroys Hurricane earlier). Both the Brits then have their own Wrestlemania XX (Eddie/Benoit) moment with the fans erupting for joy for their two native sons, while confetti pours from the ceiling covering the entire ring. That would actually be pretty awesome, however I don't think Burchill's quite established enough for it to work. It'd get him over big as a heel in the US/face in the UK, though. And I say yes for 2 reasons- 1 he'd be a great champ, 2- the moment would be simply epic.

I wouldn't mind at all, since I think he's earned it. However, let's remember he's working in his "home town" so the rules say he's losing the match.

Im one of these people that believe that the fan reaction might not be entirely on Regal's side.
I remember on one of the UK tours, it was Christian who perhaps got one of the best reaction out of the crowd during the tour a few years back. Of course Regal is likely to have his vocal supporters, but I think the peeps will also have a sizeable voice next week as well.
Would I like to see Regal win it in England? Of course I would. I want to see Regal as a champ who keeps setting up road blocks to challengers, to prevent them getting near him. Plus I think the guy deserves some reward for his work over the years. I admit he blew it himself last year, but now looks to be the time to let him run with the ECW ball for a little before passing it to someone else.

Christian fought Batista in England on RAW in 2005, right after Batista won the title at WM 21, and he got cheered over him. Batista got booed. This is when Batista was at his most over and Christian was still a sneaky heel. I remember people on here then making excuses about it and saying one crowd cheering Cristian doesnt mean he would ever be over as a face and could never be a main eventer. ;D

Not neccesarily, he did win the IC Title in England last year. Then again he was facing Santino, who was pretty much portrayed as a fluke/joke champion.

I'd Mark. In fact, I'd Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
