Hornswoggle is getting more of a push than a lot of deserving people right now, it's quite stupid. I think they'll stop using him so often once the celebrity host thing is over, but who knows when that will be? Hopefully not too long, since its rumored to end at around WM next year. They've already done most of the hosts that have crossover/ratings potential with a wrestling audience.

Had to really think about it. I don't hate the actual actor. The character itself? Hands down. It's offensive, it's idiotic, and it's anything but family friendly. So you're telling me that all midgets can talk using actual words, don't act like/get perceived as small children, and don't have magical powers that border on cartoon characters? Man, if only I were about four inches shorter I'd prove ya wrong, I'd paint a giant tunnel on the wall and run right through it while squealing and wearing a silly hat. Don't forget the Lucky Charms that you'd have stacked in the background. GOTTA sell the image, right?

Hornswoggle would actually be okay if they actually used him for something. But now he's just a tool for dumb throwaway segments, like Santino.
He was good as Finlay's whipping boy, and his Cruiserweight Champ run wasn't that bad. They actually knew what they were doing at first because they knew that these things aren't supposed to last forever.
Now? He's prominently featured but doesn't actually do anything.

Team him up with Tyler Reks and have them defeat Jerishow for the belts.

He doesn't wrestle anymore, doesn't have any angles...just shows up in backstage segments to do some malapropisms and pop cultural jokes. tl;dr: EASIEST DAMN PAYCHECK EVER.

I like him. Harmless character, usually good enough to provide me a chuckle every week.
No complaints from me.

Team him up with Tyler Reks and have them defeat Jerishow for the belts. Hornswoggle is way too good to be paired with the Reks Express. I'd still love to see Hornswoggle turn heel on DX at Survivor Series. Come out to the ring with some Glowsticks, open then up and shoot the liquid in HHH's face. Then he and Cena can turn heel and be group of evil rappers called Smallz and Cena. I don't know if that's awesome or I'm drunk. More on that later.

Personally can't stand the gimmick. Oh look, a little person running around doing "hilarious" shenanigans and beating Chavo Guerrero 763 weeks in a row. Hardy har har. I can hardly contain my laughter. Plus the fact that they can't seem to decide if he's supposed to be a f***in toddler or an adult bothers me. I'm even more baffled by the fact that he's such a big part of the current main event angle on RAW. I don't care about his thing with DX, I don't care about his thing with Cena, I just don't care about anything he does to be honest. He was alright when he was Finlay's little buddy who hid under the ring and popped up every now and then to trip an opponent or something. But since he's become more or less a regular competitor....just no. Just go away dude. I know the kiddies probably love him. But I'm just going off my experience, and when I was a little kid, I couldn't stand Dink, and this is basically the same character without clown makeup. I agree with everything you said. +1

Do you find Hornswoggle insufferable?
Oh hell yeah!

They do with Hornswoggle what they used to do with Eugene, and it drives me INSANE.
When Horny's making an ass out of Chavo every week it's all "Get'em Hornswoggle! Go for it!" But if anyone dares to defend themselves or get the upper hand, they're the devil incarnate.
He's an ADULT, for crying out loud! And even if you want to ignore that, he's being booked in a MATCH! Do you not expect the other guy to try to win? If Hornswoggle gets in the ring, does he expect that people are just going to lay down for him?
That kind of (kayfabe) crap just drives me absolutely nuts.

Even though he's offered rare comedic value, I cannot deny that my heart soared when Triple H dropped his ass on Raw.
Pretty much made my night.

Screw it, I am not good at this creative crap. Thanks Trips.

My problem with him is why is he still bothering Chavo... he gave up and he's still on him. IF it was just the random comedy skit with a guest host ok but the Chavo thing was annoying a while ago.

The character used to be amusing when he was Finley's buddy, but he was killed dead when they made him Cruiser-Weight champ and Vince's son. I wish they didn't over killed the gimmick and kept his role simple.
And yes I was killing myself laughing along with my grandpa when Kennedy dropped him from the ladder, and when JBL pounded him, and when Trips pounded him (First time I've seen RAW in a while, twas worth it for the pounding alone), and mind you we're mini's fans (Mascarita Sagrada and La-Parkita ftw!). Goes to show you what the over five crowd thinks of him.

Man, I'm hoping beyond all hope that the Pedigree and being carried out on the backboard was the write off for the Hornswoggle character.
If they can put the Spirit Squad (who I loved) in a box to OVW and (several of them) are never seen again. Then damn it, toss the leprechaun out the door now!
And yes, I was so happy after the Pedigree that I jumped up and did the DX chop at my TV along with them. See what hatred for the guy you've created in me WWE?

Man, I think Triple H hitting a pedigree on Hornswaggle was like crossing the streams for the IWC. On one hand, no one wants to cheer for Triple H, on the other, they hate Hornswaggle. I imagine smarks just spontaneously combusting when it happened.
