WWE.com printed earlier today that The Big Show had challenged The Undertaker to a Casket Match at Survivor Series, before pulling the article. If this match happens, it will be the second straight year that Taker and Show will have met in a Casket Match at Survivor Series - Taker won last year's match. Why would this match warrant a Casket Match? Also, why would they do the same match two years in a row? why would hell in a cell warrant a PPV? we are nine years removed from when WWE was remotely concerned with logical and imaginative storytelling.

Both Triple Threat should be good. I really looking forward to seeing Taker & Jericho interact, though I wonder if they'll save stuff for a Jericho/Taker match down the line.
Also I LOVE that there's still 3 weeks to bulid up a PPV.

I can't help but wonder what made them decide to randomly do two triple-threats for the show (though I'm kinda thinking the SmackDown one will gain Punk). Especially if ECW does what I'm expecting and features a four-way between Christian, Regal, Yoshi, and Ryder.

www.survivorseries.com/Survivor Series micro site. It's pretty darn cool. Also, GOOKER SIGHTING!!!!!!! I like the fact that they're making the pay per view a big deal, one that is on the same scale as Wrestlemania and Summerslam. I'd like to see the ECW title get a triple threat ,match too and then the rest of the matches be elimination bouts. Two 10 man bouts and a Divas one perhaps. If booked right, the elimination bouts can be really good. Last years were not booked well and came off rushed and shoddy. The one at Survivor Series 2007 was very good though. The blueprint for an awesome elimination bout imo remains the Team Austin Vs. Team Bischoff match from a few years back

That microsite is awesome just for the Clarence Mason reference (and face turn?).

They won't do it, but I'd love if they use JR's idea
JR's Blog
- So it seems that two, Triple Threat bouts for the World and WWE Titles will be the two, main events at this year's WWE Survivor Series. Interesting pairings. Personally, I would like to see these two bouts be made into elimination bouts that get it down to two guys which would throw a different wrinkle into the traditional, Triple Threat bouts and might add enhanced drama when one man is eliminated and the title bouts become 1 on 1. It also seems like the elimination aspect of the Triple Threat bout would add to the "Survivor" theme of the PPV. Just an opinion from a fan who has too much free time on his hands.

Well Jericho in the title match and facing Taker insures I'll be buying this. I can't wait to see the build for this. Especially considering Show and Taker weren't on SD! this week.
Also be interesting to see what Punk will be doing at Survivor Series now he's out of the title picture for a while it seems.

I think Punk will be in a team with Batista, most likely.

I think Punk will be in a team with Batista, most likely. But Batista walks alone. Haha funniest thing i have heard in ages. Perfection. Imo this is what the card will be: World Heavyweight Title Taker vs Show vs Y2J WWE Title Cena vs HBK vs HHH Team Batista(Batista, Punk, Ziggler, Hart Dynasty) vs Team Mysterio (Rey, Matt Hardy, Morrison, Cryme Tyme) ECW Title- Elimination Match(hopefully) Christian vs Ryder vs Regal vs Yoshi- I hope the Zack Attack wins this match cause I have been really impressed with his singles run since he was used on ECW. After this move Christian to Smackdown and feud with Punk. Divas Match- Generic happy smiling divas vs Generic bitchy conceited heels. Meh. Team Kingston- Kofi, Team Kool Aid, Evan Bourne, Primo(haha yeah sure) vs Team I Hear Voices In My Head- Orton, Dibiase, Rhodes, Swagger, Masters/Guerrero. Miz vs Danielson- US Title- Do it WWE, would be epic. Cattle Mutilate that Miztake! I'm looking forward to this Kingston/Orton feud because this could be the big feud Kofi needs to push into the main event. He is immensely talented and deserves to be right up in the World Title picture in 2010. I really hope they dont rush the Dibiase turn just for the shitty Marine 2 movie.

Since I love to "fantasy book," here's what I would do. Rey Mysterio, John Morrison, Mark Henry, MVP, & R-Truth vs. Batista, Dolph Ziggler, The Miz, Jack Swagger & Drew McIntyre Melina, Mickie James, Eve Torres, Gail Kim & Kelly Kelly vs. Michelle McCool, Natalya, Beth Phoenix, Katie Lea Burchill & Jillian Hall Goldust, Shelton Benjamin, Hurricane Helms, Tommy Dreamer & Tyler Reks vs. Zack Ryder, Ezekiel Jackson, Vladimir Kozlov, Paul Birchill & Abraham Washington ECW championship: Christian (C) vs. William Regal vs. Yoshi Tatsu Kofi Kingston, Primo Colon, Evan Bourne & Cryme Tyme vs Randy Orton, Ted DiBiase, Cody Rhodes, & The Hart Dynasty and the two announced triple-threat title matches.
