You disqualified it, but I think that it is a bit of a disservice to the performance. The original song was nowhere as good as successful (or as good in my opinion) as Harrison's version. I did because that's my opinion. I've only heard the original once and I much prefer Harrison's version but because he didn't write it, I don't consider it as good a song as many other solo Beatles songs. Like My Sweet Lord, it's a great song but it's a rip-off of He's so Fine. So I don't consider it as great a song. Another way of putting it would be for me to say that Harrison, McCartney and Starr all wrote their best songs whilst part of the Beatles. Lennon wrote his best song as a solo artist. So that would be why Lennon gets my vote for favourite solo Beatle.

Fair enough, though in my opinion Harrison's writing did not really go down much after the break-up, especially if you consider that he "co-wrote" a lot of pretty good songs with Ringo as well.

George. Then Ringo. I REALLY don't get the Ringo hate. He's a cool guy and a highly underrated drummer.
John was after them. Never was too big on Paul.

I went with Ringo because he's the one who doesn't strike me as a dick on any level. He's not my favorite PERFORMER, but he's my favorite as an individual person.
Lennon was(probably admittedly) pretty absorbed with himself. Paul with the whole One Legged Pete(I can't be bothered to remember her actual name) situation and his supposed behavior. Harrison nailed Ringo's wife. Real nice.
If we're going music, uhh, I guess Paul.
Ringo however gets my vote anyway because he's Mr. Conductor. Not as good a one as Carlin, but still good.

Actually, Ringo is a huge dick. Pushing old women over, exposing himself to children, and pooping in people's flower gardens are all part of his routine, and that's just before breakfast.
Peace and love.

I honestly like all of their solo music but Ringo is Ringo and I find him to be awesome, always.

I enjoy Lennon's solo stuff more than the others.

Yeah, Ringo is the one member of the greatest band of all time that not only never seemed to display any a-hole qualities, but he is also as cool as the other side of the pillow. Ringo seemed to stay on the good side of all of his former bandmates, which considering how petty they each seemed to get at times says something about how likable he really is. They all collaborated with Ringo more often than any of the others. George wrote/cowrote a number of songs and gave them to Ringo to call his own. John did this a bit as well (though Ringo changed his mind on using a couple that John had give him to use due to John's murder). Also, Ringo is the only Beatle who didn't write at least one song to piss on one of his former bandmates.

Musically I have to go for Harrison. I just liked more of his solo stuff than the others.

Harrison, both musically and as far as relating goes. Lennon coming right after, then Paul, and Ringo I'm just indifferent about.
